“Went here for a family special event and it was delicious. As a vegetarian, there weren't too too many veggie friendly dishes but there was mapo tofu (specifically requested) without meat. I've eaten a lot of mapo tofu and this was the best I think I've ever had - such amazing szechuan pepper flavor. Would go back just for that. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the little yogurt drinks they offered at the end of the meal were a hit. Would definitely go back and would definitely get the mapo tofu.Vegetarian options: Honestly, if you don't like szechuan style food this probably isn't the restaurant for you. If you do and you're a vegetarian you're probably very familiar with mapo tofu. If that's the case then you won't be disappointed. There are at least a couple more menu items that are/can be veggie but the mapo tofu alone will make it worth a trip.Parking: Across from a home depot = a big parking lot“
“Food was amazing and served quickly! I love broccoli so was happy that I got a good amount whereas most places only have a few tiny pieces. Customer service was amazing! They were very polite and helpful.Also best spring rolls and dumplings around! Def need to try them when you stop in“
“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“
