“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!“

The food was great and that dressing is incredible. I highly recommend it. The portion was on the large side and filling. We ordered the tater tots and the shrimp and broccoli dumplings. I am a fan of the side dish options, they were good. I will probably order here instead of Poke Crew in Closter. This is better quality and slightly less expensive.“

“Excellent quality sashimi and sushi. The gozen set plus a couple hand rolls a la carte made for a satisfying lunch. The edemame stood out because it had a grilled flavor and was well-seasoned, unlike any I have had before. Curious to try some of their other dishes besides sushi.“

I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. “After seeing so many this place on socials I decided to give it a try. Hard to believe somewhere has happy hr during the week until 8 pm. I’ve included the happy hr/power hr menu.

I had 3 appetizers and 2 drinks my total was just over 32 dollars so rest assured that this deal is real, no hidden charges or hidden fees/taxes. Just thought it was odd that they accept all cards but you can only tip in cash (maybe this was just my case since I had such a small bill).

Service was great, I had a friendly bartender. The tamarindo flavored frozen margarita was definitely a star. The red sangria was also pretty good, they don’t skimp on ingredients, the bartender told me exactly how they make it.

For food I had the shrimp spring roll, teriyaki wings and chicken dumplings. Everything was great, arrived hot and fresh. Was surprised about the quality of the chicken wings, plenty of meat on the bones. I love how the wings were glazed and not drenched in sauce. The shrimp roll I’ll say isn’t worth the 6 dollars, one roll cut into 4 pieces. Portion sizes are small for these power hour dishes but the presentation and quality are on point.

Beautiful exterior and very nice modern interior. Bathroom could use a little attention; otherwise, I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back if in the area. A bit of a hike from the A train (10 minute walk) which may not seem like much, but it’s winter and the walk is uphill on the way back.

“Very traditional Polynesian/oriental food. There are very few sit down Chinese restaurants anymore and this was a throwback to my youth. From the fun kitchen decor to the phenomenal pu pu platter and flaming drinks. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely.“
