“We went to River Edge branch on Friday night - the music and atmosphere are great.Restaurant is beautiful. They have very good singer/DJ, people were dancing till very late. Food is good too - we ordered lamb shish kebab, fried potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, samsa, some salads - everything was delicious. Highly recommended.“

We tried the paratha rolls which were perfectly spiced, wrapped in flaky paratha with amazing chutneys and the crispy chicken sandwiches that were huge, juicy, and packed with desi inspired flavors. The gappa chaat was a showstopper too, tangy, spicy, fresh, and beautifully presented.

The place has such a cool, authentic vibe with vibrant murals and a welcoming atmosphere. Even the washrooms were extremely nice and well kept (wish I had taken a picture to show that)

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. I never met him in my entire life and I came in to get a green juice but I didn’t have enough money to pay for it. However the man who was at the counter treated me with so much love and kindness.
