“Valentine's Day at Sanducci's. Had a great time. The food was fantastic, as always. The staff was very professional and cheerful. All of the other guests around us seemed to be having a great time as well. Couldn't ask for a better way to spend an important evening!!“

“Anelle was AMAZING! Truly one of the most remarkable service and food experiences I’ve had in NYC- every single course was an absolute smash hit and a transportation to Tuscany. This is the type of meal that you want when you want something truly, really special. Core memory while living in NYC. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you to the entire staff!!Dietary restrictions: They are so accommodating to any dietary needs, and totally create the menu around your needs!“

“They must have a crew of nonnas in the kitchen here because this food tastes like a New Yorker’s childhood. Hospitable and charismatic, from the host to our server- the true energy of an authentic Italian restaurant. Ask for Anastasia when you come in if you want to have an amazing dinner, couldn’t ask for a better time for a memorable evening between close friends.“

“Been here several times idk what took so long for the reverse, but this place is 10/10. Always great customer service and ambiance. Been for lunch when calm and busy dinner time. Food is always on point freshly made and hot. Flavors are robust. Pricing is average, but worth it. Love how much the business has grown. Can't wait to continue going back and bringing new people with me. The spicy calamari as appetizer never fails. For main course i had the penne (don't remember exact name) had mushroom and truffle added chixken as protein. My niece had the lobster spaghetti and she loveddddd it! Overall, recommend and look forward to trying other locations for same great experience.“

“A local Italian restaurant with handmade fresh pasta. I thought the food was decent and the service was pleasant, but nothing special. Typical Manhattan prices... ib other words, expensive for what you get. Has sidewalk seating and a nice wine menu“

“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“I was biking past one day and from the exterior I thought it was a dive bar and wasn't until I got home I looked up and saw it was a pizza spot. Went back for lunch that weekend and ordered the pizza and cocktail from the specials menu. Pizza was ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, and hot honey sauce. Cocktail was tequila, st germaine, lime, basil simple syrup. Both were delicious! A week later I came back for dinner on a weeknight. Just grabbed the wrecking ball pizza (pepperoni etc) and a hazy IPA they had on draft. There's a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and looks like when it start to warm up they have some tables outdoors as well. Both times I went my myself so I just sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Love this spot!“

“This is our go to spot for special moments or when we want a treat. There is no better food anywhere. The ambiance is stylish. The personnel are friendly and attentive. On a busy night the background noise can make conversation a little challenging, but it's the only place I can think of that doesn't have the distraction of a tv. Love it here!“

“Outstanding food, outstanding service, outstanding setting. 100% legit true Italian old school spot without the attitude or stereotypes of other Italian spots in Jersey. Genuinely a hidden gem and I'm so mad for waiting so long to come as I've known about this place for decades. Can't wait to come back.“

“This place is definitely the talk of the town. Just before we walked in the doors we had a local telling us that it was a great Italian place and we wouldn't be disappointed. He couldn't be closer to the truth! We enjoyed great service from the staff, a good ambiance, and delicious food. The food came out of the kitchen in what seemed like five minutes and it was good. Wouldn't recommend linguine bongole if you are sensitive to spice because of the pepper flakes, but it was still a great dish. The pizza and the penne vodka were out of this world flavor, and for a reasonable price too. If you are looking for an Italian place that has won the hearts of the locals, this is the place for you.Vegetarian options: If there is a dish with meat, you can ask them to take it out.“

“I recently dined at Vinateriá and I must say, the food and service were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu offered a variety of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience exceptional. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian meal. 5/5 stars.“

“I wish I had found Bella Trattoria sooner! My wife and I have been trying to find some 'go to' dinner spots since moving to the east coast, and I can confidently say we found a keeper. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a nice family outing and you'll absolutely find something on the menu for everyone. We started with the calamari fra diavolo and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice to it. The main course obviously had to be some pizza but we couldn't decide on one so we tried the veggie and the salsiccia. You guys...they were amazing! The crust was just right and there was plenty to take home for late night snacks. All I can say is I can't wait to go back“

“Ordered the Margarita after hearing they won a competition. I can definitely see why, the crust is crisp and thin with a focaccia-like texture. The sauce is light and flavorful with being to harsh. The cheese is everything it is hyped up to be. We will be back, perhaps sandwiches next time.“

“Elena is the best! I called her to ask what the best pasta would be for the sauce I was making that day. “The pizzeria down the street is truly a hidden gem! With a solid score of 9 out of 10, this pizzeria offers an exceptional culinary experience. The pizza is exquisite, with a thin and crispy crust topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to recommend the best choices from the menu. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxing evening with friends. The only slight drawback might be the limited parking, but it's absolutely worth it for the quality of the pizza! If you love authentic pizza and you're in the area, this pizzeria is a must-try.“

“Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. I give it 5 Pie Ya's.. pie ya, pie ya. Pie ya. Pie ya. Pie ya. I will definitely be back again. Great Job Grumpys..I have to Pizza aside, your Customer Service is top notch as well.“

“Food was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best food we've had but definitely far from the worst. Maybe it was because we came in pretty late in the evening but we enjoyed the food. “Almost hidden on a small street in Belleville, Me & Tommy's looks like someone's house from the outside. Once inside, you are immediately treated as a guest in a friend's home. We received such a warm welcome, that my husband asked if I knew the staff. That level of service continued throughout the entire meal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding service. The dining area is quite small, and they are busy all night. I would most definitely call for a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is lively and boisterous. Not meant for a quiet romantic evening. Kinda like a loud Sunday family dinner vibe. For food: Smothered Rice Balls in Vodka Sauce, Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers, Pasta Volognese, and Artichoke Chicken. For me, the Rice Balls were my favorite dish. Generously portioned, the rice balls are a cheesy carb delight. The famous vodka sauce was creamy and plentiful. Highly recommend. The Stuffed Peppers were two very large, beautiful cubanelles (my personal fav pepper). My husband loved the stuffing, while I did think it was a touch over seasoned. The Volognese- cross btw vodka and bolognese) was enormous! It does lean more to the bolognese, but was tasty nonetheless. My Chicken Artichoke special consisted of three chicken breasts with mozzarella and artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce over linguine. This was a very tasty and satisfying dish, and -you guessed it- generous. We shared an Affogatto with Bailey's liqueur for dessert which was a perfect end to the meal. Even my espresso was delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We took home enough left overs for another meal! We will most definitely return.“

“This place is the bomb! Went there for the first time on Saturday and went there 3 days in a row afterwards because we fell in love with their pizza. It’s the best pizza in the area, bar none. It’s not your typical pizza like Rays. Pizza here is Neapolitan. The dough is amazing. I typically never eat pizza crusts. But here, I devour them. While all the pizzas are delicious, Diavola pizza is out of this world good.Service is great as well. Very prompt. Everyone is incredibly friendly. Got to chat with one of the owners, and the actual pizza maker, Antonio, who is just the sweetest guy. Also, although they sell wine, you can bring your own with no corkage fee!Just go. “Along with Italian Riviera in Waldwick, this is the preeminent Italian delicatessen in all of Bergen County and its immediate surrounding area. The food is great. A lot of homemade stuff, sandwiches are stuffed, ingredients are top notch. Mom is an excellent cook, her eggplant parm, broccoli rabe are off the charts. Her two boys mainly look after the customers, they're quick, friendly and always smiling. Small storefront, very clean but humongous on the taste buds.“

“Today I brought the Boys to Due Fratelli in Hawthorne. Little did I know we had been here years ago when it was Primo Amore !!! A very special thanks to Briana who went above and beyond for our crew of eleven. Not only was the service impeccable, but she gave us a Veteran discount and brought us an additional order of some mighty good Cannoli!! For the most reasonably priced Italian restaurant we've been to , I highly recommend Due Fratelli. We only had one appetizer which was the Fried Calamari which was excellent. For our entree we had : Italian Wrap , Eggplant Parmigiana, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Veal Piccata, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Salvational, Chicken Mediterranean, Chicken Scarpariello . Cappuccino followed with Cannoli, Cheesecake, and a Pistachio Cake that was off the charts !“

“This review is so overdue! This restaurant has become my go-to place for the best food in the area. I have tried so many restaurants but none keeps on calling my taste buds like La Cambusa! I come with my hubby and daughter and most recently with some of my betsies..I love their menu is small but super delicious. Their appetizers are amazing ? the little bruschetta at the beginning is so yummy and you kind of build it yourself. The flavors are super clean and sauces are light and full of flavors. Sometimes food is drenched in so much sauce that it loses its unique flavor but not here. Every dish is a perfect harmonious bite. It is BYOB which is a plus. Keep up with the nice clean flavors! See you soon…“

Their bread and salad were so fresh and good too! Chianti, shirley temples and coffee were so good too! And let's not forget dessert--cheesecake and ice cream puff cake were just WOW!) Amazing! “This is your local, authentic Italian Deli with zero frills (don’t plan to eat inside, takeout only/cash only) but the best sandwich you will eat in North Jersey! “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. “We stopped by for the first time tonight and were thrilled with our experience. Alex and his team are making some of the best thin crust pizza in the area.We came in with a group of six, and they happily accommodated us. They were friendly, welcoming, and the food was delicious. The crust was thin thin thin, and the cheese and sauce were the perfect mix of salty and sweet. I wish I had taken photos of the rest of our food, but we ate it too quickly (that’s how good it is!) We had two plain small thin crust pies, a half pepperoni/half sausage, and a small thin crust with half “the works” and half veggie. We also got a salad and two Italian subs and an arugula salad. Everything we ate was fantastic! We also got to meet the owner Alex, who has put his heart and soul into this place. He is a stand-up guy who really cares about his customers. If you get the chance, stop in and try their pizza - you won’t be disappointed!“
