I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.

It’s a place you can visit with your family and feel completely at ease. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.🙏“

Turkish culinary is very diverse and a lot more than kebabs. Afiyet felt like eating at a local place in Turkiye. The food was fresh, comforting, and beautifully authentic. From the food to the intimate seating, the flavors were popping and a few things left me speechless - top of the list was the zucchini fritters which after one bite you can’t stop eating as they were moist, crunchy and bursting with love. The lamb chops were juicy and I could’ve eaten two plates of this - everything from the rice to the night cap of baklava was fabulous. Best baklava I’ve ever tasted so we had to order two plates - so good!!“

“I’ve been living in the U.S. for 15 years and I still can’t believe I never heard about this place before. The baklava was incredible, and the syrupy dessert with clotted cream inside (I forgot the name) was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the best dessert spots I’ve tried.“

“I like to come by and eat lunch here because the food is delicious, quickly served, and price is giving. Lunch Menu is now $17 for soup or salad, appetizer, main. I had the lentil soup (could use some more flavor its a bit bland), the hummus was very
good (wish they had real warm pita instead of bread ), my Chicken kabob was cooked perfectly (meat was tender and soft).“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

“As soon as you enter this restaurant, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

The food is absolutely delicious, we were all very impressed with the quality (a lot of restaurants are sacrificing quality these days, but you can tell they really care about their customers here!)
