Turkish culinary is very diverse and a lot more than kebabs. Afiyet felt like eating at a local place in Turkiye. The food was fresh, comforting, and beautifully authentic. “I’ve been living in the U.S. for 15 years and I still can’t believe I never heard about this place before. The baklava was incredible, and the syrupy dessert with clotted cream inside (I forgot the name) was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the best dessert spots I’ve tried.“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

“As soon as you enter this restaurant, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

The food is absolutely delicious, we were all very impressed with the quality (a lot of restaurants are sacrificing quality these days, but you can tell they really care about their customers here!)

“Food was honestly great! We got eggs with tomatoes and eggs with sausage . But the cheese breakfast plate was very disappointing we had to return it. It mentioned 3 meats that did not come on the plate when they brought it out. But the waitress was very friendly and took it back for us and got us something else. I think they just need to update the pictures in their menu. Other than that loved the vibes and service thank you ❤“
