“Where do I even start? From top to bottom, start to finish, this place is an absolute gem and a banger! It’s been around forever, I grew up going here and recently came back to the area and knew I had to stop in the see what was new….Ali, one of the owners, has some of the most outstanding customer service skills and his smile and charisma light up when you walk in. Nothing else like it. This guy is straight up awesome!!Omar, the other owner and Ali’s brother is in the back cooking up some of the best food in the area.I got garlic knots, pizza, fries, tenders and mozzarella sticks. The garlic knots are hands down the BEST garlic knots I’ve had in my entire life. No joke. Legit. And my standards are high / picky for garlic knots. They’re fluffy, pillow-like, chewy and PACKED with garlic. Tons of garlic and the texture is PERFECTION. If you like dry overcooked no flavor garlic knots that skimp on garlic, go elsewhere. The pizza is in my Top 2 and I’m very particular about my pizza….fresh, perfectly cooked, ratios of ingredients ideal and not too thin (I hate cracker-like crust pizza. If I wanted that, I’d get a flatbread) it had the perfect texture, chew and nice amount of cheese. Has a very very awesome unique flavor that’s hard to describe that I’ve never tasted before all the way through to the dough and the cheese is FRESH. These guys know what they’re doingOh and by the way, the tenders are hand breaded and house made to perfection. Nice and juicy, melt in your mouth fall apart just picking them up.The mozzarella sticks are also house made and you can tell they are fresh. These guys are charitable too, involved in the community and with donations.Literally everything about this place is amazing from the people to the food. I can’t get over how amazing those garlic knots are. I’m mad because now I have to go back regularly lol.Genovas is the definition of QUALITY!“

“Bacio Kitchen & Catering was a great venue for hosting an on-site dinner party! The price was reasonable for renting the space for 3+ hours. Chef/owner Robert was accommodating and met all our needs. The pub dinner served buffet style was very good-our guests loved it! We brought adult beverages, which were chilled beforehand and served to our guests. I would highly recommend Bacio’s!!“

“It's been a long time since I've been to Sapori and definitely regretting not coming back sooner. The food was outstanding, from the bread and olive oil, to the fresh calamari, main, and dessert. Everything was great in terms of service and the waiter was attentive and charismatic. Heated patio was excellent and everything was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon.“

“We were early, but were seated and the staff was warm and welcoming. We were there for the Spring Early Bird Specials and the choices made it hard to decide, but we each chose different apps and entrees and each of us was delighted with our choices. We chose the same dessert and were very happy with it. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly and the risotto was so creamy i could have had an entree of just that! My sister, it was her 89th Birthday, got the Gnocchi and said it was excellent, she almost asked for a doggie bag because it was so filling, so she opted for the Sorbetto for dessert instead of a cannoli. The sound level was quiet, the music was soft. More people came after us and the staff still acted as if we were their only concern! As senior citizens we don't like to drive at night, especially since we were coming from Marlton. We will be looking to do this again.“

“This was an interesting find in the Huntingdon Valley area. My chicken rollatini was delicious along with the side vegetables. Unfortunately, my husband's strip steak was not very tender. We wouldn't recommend ordering that. The tiramisu was delicious. It was a very nice atmosphere and even though it was filled with people we could still talk at our table. The service could have been better. We waited longer than we wished for the waiter to come take our order, and to ask about dessert. We may try again when it's less crowded and try something else on the menu.“

“Food was absolutely delicious. My friend and I shared the cauliflower appetizer that was out of this world. We both had the truffle pasta and it was SO good. And then the tiramisu, served table side with house made lady fingers, fresh espresso poured on top and then fresh made cream.. absolutely phenomenal. Best tiramisu I've ever had. Service was also outstanding. A++ dinner“

“We frequent this Independent Italian restaurant about once a month. The location is 10 minutes from our 88-year-old mother and she orders the same pasta dish every time and enjoys her wine with her meal (which she takes 2/3 home). This is a BYOB and casual dress place. Service has always been impeccable. The food is awesome. My only negative is the appetizers are great but I think a bit overpriced for what you get. The main meals comes with pasta or veggies, and a small dinner salad. You can upgrade the house salad to a Caesar salad, and sub pasta for veggies for a small up-charge.“

“What can I say?! The food is amazing! The service is just what you would expect from a very busy establishment; at times very good and at other times you're not quite being given attention. However, don't let it hurt your feelings as the atmosphere makes up for those times where you're wondering where your waiter/waitress is.“

“The food was delicious and we love that you get a salad with your entrée. Service was very good. Our biggest complaint was the noise, which could have been cut down if they didn't seat everybody on top of each other. Despite plenty of empty tables, but they put everyone in the same section of the restaurant.“

“First visit here and looking forward try trying it again soon. We started with a shared order of the truffle fries and they were excellent. They were gone in no time! Our meals came in a reasonable amount of time. I tried the chicken parm dinner which is one of my favorite meals and this one was definitely good, but has room for improvement. The thing we noticed while there was how many people were ordering the pizzas. The pizzas are sized as a generously portioned personal sized pizza, Lighter eaters might find it gives them a few pieces to take home for a later snack. All the different varieties of these pizzas makes me want to come back and try them all. Most looked very appealing.Parking: Parking is behind the street/building, so some walking is involved.“

“Pirone's has a dining room with a simple and beautiful aesthetic. It makes you feel comfortable and unrushed. The food is consistently good, but not earth shaking. However, I believe they offer one of the best dining experiences around. I enjoy interacting with their staff - whether dining in or taking out. It's a pleasant and leisurely experience, especially after dealing with our rushed lives.“

“The cheesesteak is awesome. It would be my #1 only if the ribeye was chopped up as fine a Dellasandro’s, but my gosh is it good. I have no issue driving 30 minutes to get there. It was so good that I couldn’t eat it all and purposely saved half for later. Seriously though, don’t sleep on this establishment. I’ll be a regular customer from now on (even if Dellasandro’s is only 7 minutes away).“

“Best pizza around. Coming from NYC, I'm so happy to have found Anthony's pizza. The dough is perfect with the right amount of chew. The sauce is the perfect balance of salt, spice, and flavor. The coal fire bakes the pizza perfectly and gives it a nice toasty taste.“

“This is a regular local restaurant which we do enjoy. We were two couples for dinner. Upon arrival we asked for separate checks. We were told at the end of the meal that they no longer do separate checks for couples. The restaurant has done so for many years so this was a surprise. Even after the hostess redid the checks she made numerous mistakes that the owner had to figure it out. I don't know if we would go back with other couples that like the separate checks. It makes it so much easier, especially when we tell them up front.“

“We just had our family Christmas dinner here and the staff was amazing! They were so friendly and on top of everything. The food was delicious, even our 1.5 yr old grandson couldn’t stop eating everything. “Where to start? Well I have been to Home Depot on Castor Ave many times to get certain items and Rocco's has been outside for many years, I've always passed and can smell the caramelized onions, oh those wonderful onions, but I never stopped there for a sandwich.....until this evening. I walk to the window and notice about 3 or 4 whole spirals of both sweet and hot Italian sausages all nice and brown keeping warm on the griddle. The young man behind said griddle says to me "Would you like to try a piece?" Then proceeds to put a nice chunk, not piece, not nugget....CHUNK of sausage right under my nose. Now how do you say no to that, I eat this honking chunk of goodness and I'm immediately hooked. He asks what I would like. I order the 12 inch sweet with caramelized onions and sweet pepper and the person I was with ordered the hot with the same topping. Holy moley, the young man lopped a longer than the roll piece of sausage off of one of the spirals warming on this griddle then proceeds to lop off another piece almost half as long and manages to stuff it into this long roll he then put the onions and peppers on and then asks, "Would like more?" Yes, please! "More?" Yes. "More?" Yes. Well talk about a pile of this goodness on top of the great tasting sausage I couldn't believe it. I got this monstrosity home it weighed over a pound. It was double wrapped because it was so big, and the taste? Well let's just say I have a new favorite place to go when I get a hankering for a sweet with peppers and onions. You'd think that with all of the onions and pepper piled on it would overwhelm the sausage.....no, just no, it was incredible, it was an experience and I ate the whole damn thing in one sitting, as far as the other person I went with, not only did they love thier sandwich, they only got through 1/2 of it. Now while I fall into a food coma, I will happily tell anyone to go to Rocco's if you want to experience a real Italian sausage sandwich!“

“Been going to this Great pizza shop since i could walk. It WAS the BEST. The Family who owned it for 52 years was the BEST. Sal's daughters ran the place so smoothly, they will be missed. Not a huge fan of the changes this place has made to my hometown shop. I was there so much i felt that it was my second kitchen. Michelle and Josephine thank you for being such pros for so long, and making the town that much better and cooler with your presence. Pizza fridays wont be the same as these new guys already started taking the main ingredient out of the food, the LOVE. Equal parts LOVE sauce and cheese. God knows the wings were the greatest ever as were the ladies running the show.“

“If you have a chance to eat at Angelo's - take it!This restaurant was a favorite of my mom's and her husband's. I don't live locally but when I came back to visit, I was thrilled to take my mom here to dine. Mom is no longer with us so we had a luncheon in her memory this month. Mom's favorites were the French onion soup, shrimp scampi and the homemade (by Angelo's wife) Tiramisu. I appreciate the gluten free options, the gf pasta was terrific, so is their gf pizza. For the luncheon the portions were generous, the food delicious.Angelo is no longer with us but his wife, his son and his wife make coming to a restaurant seem like you are coming home. I grew up eating Italian food, homemade by my grandmom who arrived to the U.S. in the 1920s. The food here, tastes just as terrific as grandmom's (Sorry granny:)The service is terrific, the value is great and it's BYOB.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of pasta items without meat and plenty of seafood choices.Kid-friendliness: We've brought kids here, there are high chairs and if you need something simpler for a young kids palette, they have it.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of parking and there is a ramp for wheelchairs or scooters, the restaurant has special for both items.“

“It seems like a nice Italian Deli with what seems to be quality products. I went there for the first time to find those big martini olives. They have the right size olives but I bought the ones in the cold display case which still have the pits in them ?.There was a customer already there who was friendly and made it a welcoming experience. The employees were...well...working...so no warm greeting.Since the place was recommended by a few folks, I ordered a Tonno Tuna sandwhich. It contained VERY little tuna. For $10.95 I guess I was expecting at least half a can of tuna on it.I guess WaWa and Gaetano 's have my expectations too high ?. The hoagie roll was fresh and tasty so next time ( yup, next time) I'll grab the pre-made stuff.Overall not disappointed but now with a different mindset.“

“This place is awesome! Great pizza and very good priced specials. I saw the specials after I ordered my pizza, which was phenomenal by the way, and I thought to myself yeah I gotta come back for these specials some time soon. The place has cool old school vibe to it as well. It's like one of the old pizzas places or sub shops you used to go when you were younger but you can't find them anymore. It's like a time capsule pizza place, in a good way of course!“
