“Service was good in the beginning. Then after we were served the waiter didn't come back. We had to ask someone else for another drink. Then we had to wait for our check, at least 20 mins in between both drinks n check. Then the service charge was added which would be ok if the service was great. Just not happy with the service that's all! Every else was fine.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“Came in for lunch after a very busy morning at work, and, if I'm being honest, with a minor hangover. Everything about this place fixed me right up. I felt like I went to lunch at my tia's. The ropa veja I got tasted exactly like the one I grew up eating. Comfort food and comforting vibes.“

“This was my first time at Rumble Crumble in Helden, New Jersey,and I absolutely loved it! The establishment is beautiful, nice, and clean. Anderson and Cristian were amazing waiters and made the experience for me and my friends, a party of eight, such a great one!
The service, atmosphere, and cleanliness were all top-notch. Even the bathroom was nice and clean, which I really appreciate. And the best part? It’s only 10 minutes from my home! I enjoyed myself so much that I’m already planning to come back for my birthday! That’s how much I loved my experience here. ❤️“

“Had a great lunch today. The staff was very attentive. I had the cuban sandwich and my friend had the Ceasar Salad with Churasco. One of the managers, Jenny, came to check on our table and was very nice to us on top of our server being great. Definitely will be back again and again.“

“Hace poco hice un pedido para un evento social familiar por un valor de $540 pero decidí pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito, obviamente me cobran el impuesto tax 6.625% de venta, sin embargo, tuvieron el descaro de cobrarme un 2.9% adicional por el uso de la tarjeta de crédito. “Owner is so sweet and workers are attentive even when busy. I am happy to say they take their time with their food, and provide excellent service. I did not mind waiting because scenery and weather was great as they provide seating in front the place.

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.

Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians and my rice ended up having meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully blame them“

“This place is one of the best places to have a healthy lunch in West New York. I am amazed that it doesn't have any review yet. I tried fish and also lunch specials twice out three times being there, I recommend fish and cow tail. A nice girl works there having very helpful attitude toward customers (unfortunately I don't remember her name but you will find her at lunch). You might have a little bit of problem communicating in english, but all of the times that I had lunch there, they prepared exactly what I meant. A meal size was more than enough for me and I am not skinny, unhealthy or anything. Did I mention the price? it is worth every penny.“

“I found this place through instagram and went in person had the sweet chilli wings and two empanadas, amazing! Loved it. Not a fan of the yuca fries they were a bit on the dry side but its always a hit or miss when it comes to Yuca / Yuca fries. “I was so excited to finally try Gilberto’s Cafeteria, especially because I came here to celebrate my 16th birthday! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel even more special.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. You could really taste the Cuban flavors, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I recommend if this is your first time coming to defenitly try it.

What made the experience even better was the service. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. It really felt like they cared about making our visit special. Being a small family owned business you can see the dedication they put into making their costumers happy which was so wholesome.

Overall, Gilberto’s Cafeteria was such a great choice for my birthday. Between the amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful service, it made a special day even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!“

“This is a family favorite! Since the food is fresh and very cheap compare to today’s prices within other restaurants around the same area. It could be better flavored, but they have their own seasoning. My favorite dish would have to be the Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami for breakfast. Cannot for get their oatmeal drink& hot chocolate.
