“Appetizers and salad were good. Shrimp/lobster chowder was meh; get something else. My ribeye was unevenly cooked; it was medium rare on one side and medium-medium well on the other (I ordered medium). I didn't mind the medium rare part but others might. The steak was very tender though but I think over-seasoned for my taste. If a cut says they use their seven spice seasoning, order another cut that doesn't if you want to taste your steak more. My son's chopped steak was also very tender and not so seasoned.“

“My partner took us here for our anniversary recently and the overall experience was INCREDIBLE. Every single staff member was extremely accommodating and welcoming. It was a very warm and charming environment. The lighting was perfect, especially for a romantic dinner. Every dish and drink that came to our table did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and refreshing. This place is a bit more high end but the cost is completely fair for everything we got. It was worth every penny. I would definitely come here again! “Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. This was a great choice for our 10th wedding anniversary. We’re so glad we found it. Highly recommend!!!!!!“

“Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“This is going to be a place we come back to, time and again. Started with the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare which was divine. The Watermelon salad was excellent. The Filet Mignon was cooked so perfectly. As was the Scallop Risotto. Everything was perfect!“

The sofia salad was superb and the Lobster Vodka Rigatoni, was the best meal I’ve had this year.

The octopus unfortunately was severely overcooked, it was truly inedible, but the rest of the food more than made up for it.

“Cliff’s Steakhouse delivered an absolutely 10/10 meal from beginning to end. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller and octopus, both excellent and a great way to kick off the evening, along with a bottle of wine.

For the main event, we went with the Tomahawk for Two, accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. It arrived with sizzling plates and the preparation continued right before our eyes. The steak was truly exceptional—perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and easily the highlight of the night. It was so good that we actually asked our server to send our compliments to the chef.

As an added treat, we were brought some rigatoni pasta with chunks of filet mignon. What a surprise! The sauce was rich, buttery, and delicious, while the pieces of filet added another layer of flavor and texture that took the pasta to another level.

From the starters to the steak, sides, wine, and unexpected pasta course, there wasn’t a weak moment in the meal. Cliff’s Steakhouse earned a strong 10/10 from us. An excellent steakhouse experience and definitely a place we’d return to.“

It was plenty for 4 people to split. The steaks were cooked perfectly and served with this amazing garlic butter. The sides were so big we didn’t even finish (3) between all four of us. “Food is great they know how to cook a steak for sure, unlike these other major steak restaurants out here in NYC. The only problem I had eating there was the numbers of flies flying around me and my food. I felt like an African gazelle swatting flies away with his tail, then there are at times when sketchy people would walk in and ask you for money while eating. The owner kicked the person out, but as soon as he was seen, he should've been kicked out. But other than that food was good and not too expensive you will get a bang for your buck.“
