“Charming place, beautiful space inside open and airy. Great food made delicious with fresh ingredients. The menu is varied with lots of great options. They have lobster, steak, fish such as chillean sea bass, salmon, fresh rainbow trout. They also have great salads and entrees. Service was nice too. Reasonably priced given the taste, setting and fresh ingredients. Easy to access from route 10. Recommend a visit!“

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

Having been a guest of the Grabowski family for decades, I can attest to the fact that each and every one of their eateries is synonymous with the highest quality of gastronomy. Each time I try one of their places that I haven’t been to before it’s like being a kid on Christmas Eve. They use the highest quality provisions with which their expert culinary staff prepares taste bud orgasms. What particularly strikes me as regardless of the location that you’re lucky enough to visit everyone on the team is excited to be there and takes ownership. There were 7 of us in our party including a 3 year old and she anticipated our needs every step of the meal. “We celebrated a milestone birthday in the dining area next to the terrace with delicious food and great service. The bar had a large selection of beer, wine had a dozen options, plus mixed drinks. The staff let me taste a couple beers before I chose one to go with my calamari appetizer which was very large and well prepared. I do think the standout appetizer was the tuna which had an amazing citrus flavor. For my main I had the sea bass while most of the others had streaks. I thought it was delicious and the rice delicious. Maybe a tad too much butter for me, but no complaints. I skipped desert but the chocolate cake and apple tarts looked amazing. Service was top notch, my water glass was consistently filled and the staff present but not too much so. A great late afternoon dining experience.“

“Fabulous place to host a private event in their beautiful downstairs area. The buffet was one of the best I have ever been to, the dressing on the salad was exceptional. The owner was very accommodating and the menu offered a variety of choices that took into consideration allergies and dietary preferences. not one complaint on any of the food. our server dona was terrific, the place is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, lots of parking available and very reasonable prices. I have also been there for lunch and highly recommend their flatbread. Love this place and will be back often.“

“The Beacon was so accommodating since I planned my entire wedding dinner within a month. I needed as few headaches as possible. Edna coordinated everything! The staff was very polite and attentive. “I live in Sparta and I visited for the first time yesterday for brunch with my friend, and Alice's did not disappoint. I was not aware we needed a reservation but they were able to get us in anyway which I appreciated after driving all the way there. I am a vegan and I struggle with finding places locally that accommodate that isn't plain avocado toast. I was so impressed when I saw vegan french toast on the brunch menu. To top it off, it was DELICIOUS. We also got mimosas and bellinis and our server was always checking on us and we never felt rushed. The views are also beautiful. I will continue coming back, and tell everyone I know. Thank you Alice's for being a fresh of breath air with the menu that accommodates all.“

The grilled pineapple burrata app is heavenly!The PEI muscles are the freshest I’ve had. Salmon Club is huge portion! The polenta fries are sooo unique. BYOB (&) they’ve started to offer local wines. Tried the Coffee Cab Franc ~ perfect complement to the meal. Toasted Coconut Latte & Strawberry Tres Leches to end the meal (again deliciously unique). Sooooo, sooooo good!“
