WOW - the menu, the food, the cocktails, the service and effort put into everything is still FABULOUS! Our dinner on Friday was so good, we ate there again on Saturday night. “Business lunch. Lobster salad was waterlogged lobster, tasteless and probably previously frozen. Last time I was there I had sliced ribeye steak sandwich. Totally dried out but was great the fist time I had it there. Disappointing and inconsistent. Not what you want when bringing clients.“

“We are in the part of the restaurant called “the library,” which was a small room off to the left. Thankfully it wasn't busy or it could have been a bit tight. But the food was out of this world. Again! Although the creamed spinach seemed to have a funny taste, which was immediately replaced with another side when I said something. Service was good, but drinks were a little slow from the bar. The prix fixe of $55 was an amazing value. We both had the chicken breast and it was fantastic.“

“Food was incredible, server was SO thoughtful and quick, food came out of the kitchen fast and hot. Ordered the 6oz wood-fired filet with mashed potatoes and broccolini, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their desserts are small and adorable, the perfect amount of food.

They had a little birthday sign on the table, the server brought out a little champagne for a birthday toast (and a flute with ginger ale for me), and the dessert came out on a Happy Birthday plate with a candle. “I'm here visiting a friend and decided to stop here for lunch. This place was phenomenal. The service was great and the food was delicious. Sorry I font have a Pic of my wings, I couldn't wait to dig in. They had the right amount of sauce, were nice and hot, meaty and juicy. The pretzel was good too. Not sure what one of those sauces was but I didnt like it, the mustard was good though. Now these potstickers....OMG. you have got to try them, they were flavorful and the Thai chili sauce was perfect. I was afraid it was going to have some spice to it, too old for that kinda heartburn(lol), but it wasn't spicy it was just good. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by and have some great food...think I'll have dinner here tomorrow.“

They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“

No shortcuts on ingredients and preparation. I've eaten there about half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Broccoli Rabe, eggplant, meatballs, sausage, various pastas, to name just a few, all take me back to my Italian mother's cooking. Love it.!“

We were having a Christmas wedding and the Windlass was decorated so nicely for the holidays! It fit the vibe perfectly! Donna helped us plan our dinner every step of the way, promptly helping us with any questions we had. The waitstaff was excellent, food was delicious, and the lakefront location was gorgeous! “I had to go to Morristown memorial hospital for a few tests and had to fast the night before. So once I got out at noon I was starving so I came to Cottage II.
I had a lunch special for $13.50. Shredded Schewan Beef, with fried rice and wonton soup and I ordered schwan Dumpling as an appetizer. All the food was very fresh. Especially dumplings, out of this world. The waitress was a young girl , you can tell did not want to be there. She gave me an attitude when I asked for more napkins lol! Oh youth, the don't want to work. Food was very good. Ill be back.“

“Dim sum are bigger size than normal. Like the shrimp dumplings, it's filled with shrimps and plump. Compared to Qin Dynasty across the street, they're bigger. The beef cherng fun are good too.

However, I guess these days all the dim sum are getting quite expensive.“

“Brian is a gem, great service and Drinks. Some of the other should take tips from him, not as good but overall service and food is very good. There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. Try them and you'll become a regular patron!!
