“We had tried to dine here 3-4 times and left due to a wait time of 45 mins to 1 hr...Woke up a little earlier than normal this past Sunday and decided to see if there would be a crazy wait, and surprisingly tables for parties of 2 were readily available. OPH is a national chain with 3 locations in NJ. This particular location used to be an UNO Pizza then it became Dragonfly Japanese Restaurant...also I think between UNO and Dragonfly it was some other type of restaurant...Really enjoyed breakfast here tho. Until I looked at their website later, I would have never guessed they were a national chain...the food quality and presentation is top tier. So many choices of different pancakes and egg dishes...I got the chicken sausage, eggs, home fries, and it comes with a short stake of silver dollar pancakes. They have a few different coffee roasts that you can choose from (I got dark roast Brazilian). My wife got scrambled eggs, home fries, French toast, and fresh squeezed OJ (I tried the OJ sweet with a slight tang; very very good). The food was great. Def worth us trying to come back again and again. The chicken sausage was flavorful. The eggs were good. Home fries were on point...I am not really a pancake person...as a child and teen I ate alot of pancakes at iHop and NJ diners so...I just cant eat them like that, but I did have one of the silver dollar pancakes that came with my meal before I gave the rest to my wife and it was fantastic. Very buttery, sweet, and airy...Portion size of the dishes was solid. We were full when we left. I feel like the prices are very reasonable considering 2024 inflation. The staff here is very friendly. Our waitress was Karrisa R. It was our first time here and she patiently went over the menu with us and answered our questions and had a smile on her face the whole time. She check in on us several times and always asked if i needed more coffee...I was undecided between the eggs benedict and the chicken sausage plate and she suggested the chicken sausage which I was happy with. Ambiance...Inside is very bright, there are cherry blossom plants throughout the restaurant which might be left over decor from the Japanese restaurant that preceded it...Tables are spaced out well so you dont feel like you are on top of the next set of diners...There is a bar inside where you can chose to eat as well and there are a few flat screen tvs. OPH closes at 3pm everyday so this is more of a breakfast/brunch spot. This isnt a Dennys or iHop where you can come anytime of day and get anything and thats ok...I struggle to find what breakfast spot you would equate this to...its kind of a trendy restaurant you might find in Hoboken or Brooklyn that sells breakfast that somehow found its way to Woodbridge/Metuchen. We definitely will be back! Food quality is excellent. Staff is attentive...and you can tell this place has solid management. I didnt see staff texting on cell phones and lingering in corners trying to avoid working. Everyone was moving and food was coming out quickly. Next time before heading straight to the diner for breakfast try Original Pancake House.“

“My husband and I we went to I hop yesterday it was a late night run and it was a good experience. When we got there the hostess she was nice and welcoming.. she sat us down waited for a couple of minutes came back got order and drinks.. she should have wrote down the order. I got the turkey sausages, eggs whites, pankes and grits.. and he got the bacon burger with eggs and fries and french toast.. the burger was great the egg add a nice touch to it.. the fries wasn't bad and the French toast was ok.. the grits was good but it was a tad bit too watery.. the egg whites and the pankes were great.. the turkey sausages was alright. We got something to drink also orange juice and raspberry iced tea and the waitress came by twice and asked us how was the food... so over all is was good. We got the bill.. the bill was $41 and some change and she scratched out the price and charged us $51 and some change.. I didn't know they can do that.“
“They’ve definitely upped their game. The place is maintained a lot better (cleaner) than a few summers ago. The young men who serve you are really friendly and on top of things. “What a find!!! AWESOME!! 5 STARS!!! Even before I entered the restaurant I was looking for parking and was greeted by Castro the chef in the parking lot as I was trying park. Having never met me before, I was pleasantly surprised that he greeted me and said,"no worries, park behind his delivery van," which was right by the rear entrance. I knew right away this person really understood customer service and could not wait to go inside. We entered and the place had a great m suburban lunch vibe. They were busy with only one open table, customers were waiting for take out orders and they were well staffed. Every staff member worked to create an awesome experience. Not one person was standing around, they were pro active, filling glasses, cleaning tables, checking on how customers were doing and how they liked the food. Genuine concern, not idle chit chat. I was blown away. Really AWESOME food, service, prices, attitude, selection!!! They have everything you could want. Salads, juices, beverages, wraps, sandwiches, paninis, platters, breakfast dishes, lunch and brunch. The portions are large and well presented. Besides the great taste and flavor, everything is freshly made with love. We had a quick lunch, so many choices!! We had the rainbow pokey bowel which was salmon, tuna, quinoa, wasabi peas, avocado, carrots, seaweed salad, and a few other goodies, like the large radish slices in my photos. We also had the shrimp fajita poke bowl which had mainly the same ingredients. Honestly the best poke bowels I have ever had. No wasted fillers, just natural, healthy ingredients in abundance. Next time I would love to have the Nutella crepes, the sweet potato fries and desert. I live in Brooklyn and will definitely make a trip on the weekend to experience their brunch. “Visited here recently with my wife and kids for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The place has a great atmosphere, with lots of natural light from the skylights in the center part of the room. I tried the cinnamon roll pancakes, which were outstanding. Tasted just like the Pillsbury cinnamon buns we sometimes make for breakfast in the morning on the weekends. Excellent! My family tried several other varieties of pancakes and all of them were also equally as good. I've only been here one time, but my understanding is there is typically a long wait during the busiest times. There is parking located directly behind the building, both in a private lot that is attached to this business and one other as well as a municipal lot sitting right next to it. The municipal lot is very affordable, with parking costing $1 for 2 hours.“

We would get a breakfast sandwich (Pork roll eggs and cheese) and i would get a snapple to go.
