“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is delicious and fresh. Customer service is top notch. We love their daily specials!! Rice balls, banana pudding, porchetta, prosciutto are all amazing sandwiches are big that I always have leftovers Competitors serve way less for the amount they charge. Quality food like this is WORTH the money.“
“a wonderful place to go to! When dining out, having great food, excellent service, and a pleasant ambiance can greatly enhance the overall experience. A delicious meal, attentive staff, and a comfortable environment all contribute to creating a memorable dining experience. It's always a pleasure to find a place that excels in all these aspects.“
“This place deserves 6 stars. Got half meatball and half #7 (turkey) and WOW. Meatball was one of the best meatball parms ever had. The bread is to die for. The turkey was very good as well. This is one of a kind and a MUST. I will be in here 1x per week without question.“
“It’s a subway… keep that in mind… and it’s not even a full subway, yet they still manage to always get my order correct and with a smile. Niro helped me today and other days and he’s such a great happy personality. Thanks for taking care of me as usual.“
“Never disappointed! I am a repeat customer and am glad to see they have expanded the menu today I had the Dagwood and it was delicious! Added photos from last time as well. There is also a park next door to walk around in or even picnic, love this place!Vegetarian options: Sandwiches“
“I always drive by this place and since my son is off, took him there. The staff was nice and made sure that us being there for the first time knew exactly what we were ordering. I got a turkey sandwich and my son got the chicken cutlet. Both sandwiches were amazing and my son complimented that this was the best he had and like wise same for me. I asked him what would u rate it he gave 5 stars out of 5. So for a ten year old think he knows what he's talking about. Will be coming back here often.Parking: They have a parking lot in the back but didn't get a chance to go in as that street is busy so I parked on a side street.“
“Absolutely amazing food! This my new go to spot for lunch and dinner. The salads are superb, all the ingredients are always fresh, everything is homemade and it tastes it!!! I just ordered the Cobb and Caesar salads- ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! So far everything that I’ve had is top quality. Also, a HUGE shoutout for ALWAYS fulfilling requests on orders!!! You guys are the best. P.S- BEST FRIES EVER and that chicken sandwich is killer!!“
“I’ve recently started getting subs here again after years if not doing so and let me just say WOW how I missed these subs ! So good and fresh and when you walk in you smell the freshness of all the ingredients being used. The employees are friendly and efficient. Love this place! #7 with provolone and everything plus mayo is the sub to get ?“
“I love a good sub and couldn't wait to give this spot a try. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I ordered from a nice young lady, Paige. I ordered the raging bull and the chipotle chicken wrap. It took about 10 minutes. The sandwiches were big and filling. I really enjoyed both sandwiches, especially the ragging bull. I also like the iced tea I drunk. All in all I had a good experience!“
“This Subway restaurant has the best prices, the best tasting, fresh bread and the crunchiest veggies. The workers are friendly and prepare the food well. The owner is so pleasant and kind. The place is clean and organized. I wouldn’t eat Subway anywhere else.“
“I had a pork roll with eggs and the eggs were cooked perfectly for a breakfast sandwich; jammy and just a little runny. Not enough to make a mess of my hands while I ate, but enough to sauce up the roll. Super delicious. They're also arranged on the sandwich so you get a bite of egg yolk in most bites, which is the optimal bite of a breakfast sandwich, imo. It's a cute little restaurant, too. Not a ton of seating inside, but the funky art on almost every surface of the walls gives you plenty to look at while you scarf down whatever tasty things you decide to order. I'm pretty confident it's all delicious, if the other food is anything like my breakfast.“
“Best Mexican food in town for sure. We just picked up from there for the first time and the menu is massive. Food was soooo good. The guy who helped us was super nice too. We got the birria tacos and enchiladas - 10/10. This will be our new go to!!“
“As a Bayonne native, I was nervous when I heard changes would be made to (formerly Blimpie), but this place is as good as ever! If not better. I love that when you walk in the smells of the fresh ingredients really just pulls you up to the counter to make your order. Their sandwiches are delicious! The wraps are yummy! Scrumptious salads! The veggie patties are great! I don’t think I’ve ever tried something that I didn’t like there. I love to get a fountain soda to wash it all down! The snacks they offer are also good, so many different options. Freshly baked cookies? Yes, please! Their macaroni salad and potato salad are a wonderful option for side dishes with your meal. Whether you want a hot or cold sandwich, they’ve got what you’re looking for. I highly recommend giving their establishment a try! I’ve also got to give the highest compliments to them for their catering options. I’ve purchased a GIANT sub from them for a viewing party at home, as well as sandwich trays for a party in a hall. They always arrive fresh and on time! Check out their options for your next event!Vegetarian options: They offer veggie patties as well as cheese-only subs, call in and ask what other things they recommend from the menu!Dietary restrictions: They have many options that could meet your restrictions and can turn any sandwich into a salad!Parking: There is an area outside for curbside pickup, although it may not always be open as the establishment is so in-demand!Kid-friendliness: Children are greeted happily and they usually offer them a free lollipop!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible to enter.“
“The classic Cheesesteak is amazing! ? Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good philly steak cheesesteak, it’s worth the money. They were also so generous to give a free order of fries while placing my order over the phone. I will be coming “
“Our most frequented Jersey Mike's Subs. Located in between all our sports practice/game locations, this has become our go to for a quick meal. The staff here are friendly and they assemble sandwiches accurately and quickly. We order from the app a lot and every time our order is ready to pick up early. Tip: park in the back. The front parking is usually full.Parking: Lots of parking in the back. They have a back entry“
“Great food I love the baked ziti very delicious, one sister loves the pork chops while the other enjoys the ribs. The food is always freshly made and delicious. The owners are very friendly and give great customer service. Highly recommend Subs Galore for any meal. The walls are decorated with old licence plates and nice friendly atmosphere.“
“Went in today and asked Kevin what the most popular hot sandwich was and he recommended the crispy chicken chipotle. It was indeed, the best sandwich ever. I also had the macaroni and potato salad, very delicious. Kevin recommended the Italian sub as a popular cold cut and will be back to try it ?“
“This store is my go-to after a day of driving and shopping. It is on my way home. I always look forward to seeing the workers with their smiles and pleasantness. Prices are reasonable and the store is clean. Plenty of seating. There is a large parking lot, but sometimes I'm not able to get a spot near the store and have to go to another part of the strip mall. Great location for this store and has been there for a long time.“
“Best pizza!! I have about 50 pizza places closer to me then Comet, but their pizza is beyond worth driving 20 minutes away!! The staff here are also the nicest people! 20+ years later and still one of the best tasting pizza's in New Jersey!!“
“They have the BEST salads and they give you A LOT for your money! The roast beef is SO FRESH! Best SANDWICHES ALSO.. If you're looking for a great SALAD and or sandwich! This is THE PLACE for sure !! Also, they come pretty quick ! Love it“
“Great place to get vegetarian sweets or breakfast.Vegetarian options: Many variations which can accommodate sweet tooth of people with allergies and vegetarians.Parking: Parking lot in front of the store with additional places outside the lot.“
“Great place owner is pretty cool . I had a reuben and a Italian sandwich. The Italian sandwich was my favorite more than the reuben very fresh. Parking is very hard to find I would recommend calling in advance and placing an order. For two Reuben’s and a Italian sandwich came to $39. I would definitely say give it a try!“
“This review is a bit overdue, but &grain is the best! We had placed a catering order for our store last week and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. We wanted to do a staff lunch for ourselves, but weren't entirely sure what the best approach would be, so I spoke with John and he suggested a few items that were their most popular, which made it so easy.We got the Chipotle Chicken sandwich, Ham & Brie sandwich, Prime Rib sandwich, and the ABLT sandwich-- all of which were incredible. We also ordered an Apple Salad that was otherworldly. The blend of flavors and textures was sublime and we made short work of it.The star of the show, however, was the crookie. Half chocolate chip cookie, half croissant= all delicious. I don't think I can adequately put into words how incredibly tasty it was, especially when heated a bit.Looking for a biz lunch that will satisfy? Look no further than &grain.“
“I just want to say that the service is so great here! All of the workers were soooo nice! I normally order delivery but today I went it. It smelled so dang good when I walked in I wanted to order 1 of everything haha. But of course the sandwiches were delish! But the owner of this establishment should be proud of the staff he has!“
“Came here around 11 am on a Sunday and let me tell you. There were 4 people working and they all had the very best energy. I can’t remember the last time I encountered such friendly service workers. I rarely write reviews but I’m still in the parking lot writing this because they were so delightful. 10/10 recommend if you need to grab a bite with a side of cheer.“
“I have never had a bad experience whether it be eating in ordering. Delivery drivers always nice and friendly and the atmosphere in restaurant is nice. Everything paninis are amazing. I don't eat meat and there are a few options already on the menu to pick from which is wonderful and considerate overall 10/10Vegetarian options: Lent special and you can create your own panini they also have a caprese panini and I'm sure other things, the menu is extensive.“
“If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“
“Fresh food from the bread to the meats and vegetables. Nicely made sandwiches that aren't sloppy. Needs to put more condiments, oil, vinegar and oregano on sandwiches to make them taste more like a sub. Make sure you ask them for those things if you prefer them.“
“the hour n something minute trip is well worth it! I got myself a pizza bag to keep my food hot for the trip home! I'll make a few calls for orders for friends on my way home! The whole ensemble is perfect! nice n juicy peppers, onions and enough potatoes for that little side snack, a little extra grease to make the bread just right, not dry and dogs cooked to perfection! when you make the trip be sure to call friends to take their order! you know they're homesick and sure could use a great memory!“
“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“
“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“
“Been going here since I was a kid when it used to be a Blimpie. The inside of the store looks exactly the same as it did 30 years ago when my dad used to bring me here and the quality and cleanliness has remained the same. I've spoken with the owner a few times and he said he still uses the "Blimpie" bread and the same condiments. Also, the sandwiches are made as quickly as you finish saying what you ordered! I stop by here once in a while and I am never disappointed with my order. The roast beef with yellow American is still my go-to after all these years!“
“It's been awhile, the last stop I got a roast beef & provolone sub sandwich with lettuce, onion & tomatoes. Very good but kind of expensive. $10.00 could've had more meat honestly. The usual deli fare food , also make egg & vegetable sandwiches. Fries can be ordered as well. Seating is limited however . Bathroom for customers only, parking is limited unless you park in lot building down the street. Located Next to the train station near Broad St.Vegetarian options: Offers veggie sandwiches ?“
“This was one of the best sandwiches my fiancé and I have ever had! And a very reasonable price! We just finished the sandwich a minute ago and immediately had to hop on here and leave a great review. Amazing! Very cute place, such nice people, and the food was fresh and made with love. We hope to return soon!“
“Great find. Got their Wednesday special: cheese steak, fries and fountain drink. Sandwich was made to order, and it was very juicy. The fries were also made to order, though cooked, they weren't crispy. Soda machine had no ice today but got my drink. Ample indoor and outdoor sitting. Parking on premises. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.“
“I saw the advertisement on IG reels. Thought to myself give it a try. My travel has taken me over the globe and I always seek a Pastrami or Corned Beef sandwich to compare to Katzs deli. Which is A1 in NYC.To my surprise I give this Pastrami Sandwich #1 In N.J.Bypass the old landmark store downtown Newark that sells Pastrami on Halsey st.There is a New King in town it's Abbys Deli. Just do it!You won't be disappointed the Pastrami and Rye was absolutely a delight to eat. This sandwich was delicious. Take my word for it.“
“Ordered the four person Thanksgiving package. Everything was wonderfully packaged and arrived bright and early. The food is delicious and perfect for my family this holiday season! Both the delivery driver and Randy who took our order gave excellent customer service.“
“I ordered pizza (the pizza was very good) and wings to be delivered. As soon as we received pizza I called and told them they forgot the wings. The guy I spoke to confirmed they did forget the wings and will have them delivered. One hr later I called and guy said he just sent the wings well two hrs later I’m still waiting and I can’t call because they are closed. They called me and made things right. Thank you! The pizza was good just wish I had tried the wings. Glad they called me and fixed the issue.“
“The best pastrami EVER!RAJ is a wizard at making a perfect sandwich! His menus is exceptional, as is his service.Generous, beautifully wrapped, and hot!SPACIOUS PARKING BEGIND BUILDING.My favorite food in AMERICA!Ted Turner Jr MDPLAINFIELDKid-friendliness: I am 86 years old… lifelong resident in the area . “Food great, Service is great and atmosphere..Lenny's is one of those sandwiches places that's still hanging around since the 70's, so atmosphere in the place gives u a mom and pop type of sandwiches spot where u feel like u at home making a banging swollen sandwich. STILL one of the great sandwich spot I love.“
“Young man who makes the sandwiches was very intuitive to me as a customer telling me an example of what I may want and he was on point ! Very courteous and polite. The food is still awesome as usual! Thank you for great service and great food!“
“I really enjoy this spot. The variety of cheese steaks is awesome. The atmosphere is cool. The happy hour specials are a great value. The service is good.Parking: Huge parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Easy to go up the ramp into restaurant“
“My regular deli for the last year. Great food, great service and the nicest owners! They know my order as soon as they pick up the phone. A terrific local place for a sandwich! Especially like to chat with Jake, Tessa and Jacqui when I pop in for my take out.“

“At the Jersey Mike's Subs Metuchen location, I must admit, I was initially taken aback by the long wait. However, my patience paid off when I saw the sandwich artist meticulously crafting my sub. What followed was nothing short of culinary artistry. I ordered my usual Jersey Mike's sandwich, and I can confidently say it was the best one I've ever had. It was so impressive that I regret not taking a picture; it truly resembled a masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in its preparation was remarkable. While the wait may have been a bit lengthy, the end result was worth every minute. If you appreciate a sandwich that's more than just food, but a work of culinary art, you must try the subs at this location. It's a reminder that good things come to those who wait, especially when it comes to crafting a sandwich this exceptional.“
“The service and food far exceeded my expectations of this seemingly run down mini-diner. The buttermilk pancakes wer fantastic but what was seemingly only $4.55 for pancakes and $1.50 for coffee turned into $11 when the bill came! The extra charges were somewhat confusing but regardless, solid food and friendly service, definitely worth a try.“
“Jersey Mike's is within walking distance. So my significant other and I checked it out. We are glad we did!The prices are only a few dollars more than what you would pay at Subway. I like the hardwood floors and cherry beach photographs on the walls. The servers are friendly and polite and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. We had two coupons for free sandwiches. We enjoyed our meal so much we've been back three times since.I love the portobello and swiss cheese sandwich and the ultimate club. My significant other enjoys the tuna and ham and provolone. The menu also offers, turkey, Italian heroes, and beef and chicken cheese steak sandwiches. Jersey Mike's is right up there with Subway and Blimpies .“
“First time visitor, although I had a bite of their tuna sub prior to today. So when I opened up my tuna sub, the bread was cold, like it was sitting in a fridge. I'm just used to having room temperature bread with chilled inners. Friendly service, would definitely try again.“
“Today, I had a yen for Subway. Not for Wawa, or QuickCheck, but Subway. I hadn't been in years. Since going vegan, I go to such places very rarely, but especially subway. I remember when I was vegetarian, I used to go all the time and get a sub made with egg patty for protein, plus spinach, red onions, and BBQ sauce. Fantastic. Warm memories.I had hoped that, in 2021, I might be able to walk in and find a vegan protein option on the menu, but alas, it was not to be. But I ordered myself a veggie sub, with spinach, sweet peppers, banana peppers, red onions, tomatoes, and oil and vinegar on a toasted footlong Italian, with DP to drink.I'd planned to take my order to go, but looking outside, I saw that a giant thunderstorm was billowing water like there was no tomorrow. So I plunked down and dug into the target of my yearning. And it did not disappoint. I enjoyed eating this fresh, crunchy sub and watching the storm come and go.The only downer was that there was no one to way "thank you" to as I left.I know that Subway has had trouble building business in the last many years. "Fast casual" has affected the food industry in various ways. Perhaps if they can make a few changes, they can appeal to larger, fresher audiences again. Here are some ideas I have: vegan options, green messaging, get rid of the yellow color scheme (it's too 80s/90s), have cooler music, offer nitro iced coffee in one of those beverage tanks (which most people have without milk), switch to paper bags instead of plastic. Just a few thoughts.I guess something about subway still works, seeing as I developed a craving for it so many years later, and I'm glad I listened.“
