I've ordered the streak frites and it's delicious like melts in mouth tender and flavorful. The bread with cheese is ridiculous as a starter meaning it's amazing. “Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“

“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“

The food is delicious and the servers friendly and attentive.Normally I only order homemade hash, but Gloria (our server) exclaimed that theirs was really good (even out of the can) and she was right. It was perfectly made and tasty, with crunchy well done edges.It was crowded when we arrived (noon), but plenty of seating after 1pm.The diner is not wheelchair accessible, but there is an outdoor space that may be accessible in the warm months (outdoor space was closed today). There are steps leading up the front door, and the inside is pretty tight, as far as maneuverability.Few parking places out front, but plenty of street parking on a quiet street.Will definitely return!!“

“Jack’s is amazing! I hosted my daughter’s birthday there recently. Nick, the owner and chef, did an incredible job supporting me through the planning process. We did a pizza decorating activity for the kids. The kids loved making their own personalized pizzas. The theme of the party was Taylor Swift, they were so accommodating letting us put the Taylor Swift concert on all the TVs. We had a buffet of food for all the adults. Again, Nick and his team were so helpful in deciding what food and how much food would be best. The food was fantastic, all of the adults came up to tell us how great the food was. Nick also helped me secure entertainment with a magician and karaoke machine.Overall I can’t thank them enough for helping us throw a great party for our daughter.“
