“Oh my gosh! I asked the young man who works at the record store up the street, where I could get some great food. He named a few of his favs but the way he spoke of this spot, peaked my curiosity.

I walked down there and walked inside. Right away, I knew I was in for a treat. The decor - Nacho Libre is all over the walls, as tastefully done as could be. The ambiance was great you could sit further inside or closer to the windows for a more outdoor feel. The customer service was friendly and kind. I felt welcomed and appreciated, right away and throughout my meal which was mexican street corn and chicken enchilada. Delicious, delicious. Take yourself and some family/friends. Enjoy! “My husband and I recently had dinner at Cantina 46, and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed the skirt steak with shrimp, lamb chops, and guacamole, paired with tamarind and guava mojitos. The atmosphere was very pleasant, enhanced by a live singer. The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Our party of six ordered everything at once and shared family-style, and the pacing of each course was spot on.

We started with all the appetizers, and it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite. The scallops al pastor, the corn, and the bass were each exceptional in their own way—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor.

For mains, the standout was the duck carnitas—tender, rich, and perfectly executed. An off-menu tomahawk ribeye, served with house-made salsa and fresh corn tortillas, was another highlight—arguably better than what you’d find at a top steakhouse.

Although Cosme offers a thoughtful wine list, we found ourselves captivated by the cocktails. The spicy margarita was a favorite, and the mezcal flight was both fun and expertly curated.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert—but that only gives us another reason to return. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.“

They worked with me to select a menu and it was very easy to communicate with them. The night itself was great, everyone was so nice. “I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. I wish I lived closer because this would be a regular place for me. Highly recommend!“
