“They are great at breakfast. Have hot or cold sandwiches and friendly staff. I get my egg and cheese on a roll daily from here and its always on the money. Perfectly cooked. They have a km large menu. You can get omelets of any kind and lunch as well. Burger and fries etc. Got it all and foods fresh cooked on the spot. Alot of people who work around here goes to this place for lunch and breakfast.“

We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.“

But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. “Stopped by this hidden gem with my mom this Saturday. We were greeted by very attentive servers and a beautiful space. The food was absolutely delicious and presented so nicely. We ordered the avocado toast and built our own savory crepe. Among all of the fun drinks they had to offer, I ordered the Icy Bear Latte it was delicious and adorable. “I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. I know I can count on them for providing exemplary food as well as service. Thank you, Anthony and his team for making my birthday memorable!“

“I have wanted to visit the Sweets & Cafe Bakery for a long time. It is a few blocks away from my dentist, and I finally had the opportunity to visit last Friday, March 8, 2024. The service was excellent, and the two staff people who took and served my order were very professional, friendly and helpful. The cafe con leche was MUY DELICIOSO, and the ocho with guava and cream was also very tasty. The place was so clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-stocked, too. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.“

“Was in NY for 9 days last year. My lodging was around the corner and found Frisson on Yelp. It's a funky little espresso heaven! I echo then multiply what other 5-star reviewers say about the staff, the coffee and the beautiful latte art. Once discovered it was an every morning destination. The best cappucino I've had in my life was at a neighborhood bodega in Rome for a few successive mornings several years ago and Frisson's is neck and neck. Grace is always so kind and patient to customers who go in, was unsure of what to get yet she was so kind to explain the items the café provided. “I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Ladies and gentlemen this is one of the best cafes in and around clifton-paterson- garfield area where you can grab a very flavorful coffee and enjoy a little studying time. The cafe has plenty of seats for everyone and plenty of outlets. Mario and jason are both great baristas and are phenomenal with the customers. I definitely come here often and study and enjoy the environment and vibes of cafe. It can get a little hectic and loud when there are inconsiderate people around but all in all one of my fav cafes. They always have new drinks and the baristas are very creative. Well done!“

The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“

The owner and his business partner, A, will always be like family to me. If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. Regardless, this coffee is amazing, the shop is so cute and just wanted to give some constructive criticism on the service because sometimes it is the one thing that stops me from coming and going somewhere else!“
