as a vegan of almost 10 years, this place has some of the best pizza and an enormous vegan menu!

Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta. “Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “Our experience at Pancetta was great! Our waitress Monica, was so friendly, patient and accommodating. She was happy to ask the bar our questions about drinks and answer any questions about food. By the end of the night we wanted her to have a seat and join us for dinner! The food came out extremely quickly and the The bar was willing to put together a drink that wasn't on the menu for us. We couldn't have asked for better service.“

“I loved the scenery as we were sat on the patio area. On the table was a lit candle, red rose petals and a valentines menu. My partner got whiskey and I got a vodka, butterfly tea, hibiscus drink, the alcohol was a little stronger for my taste buds but I did drink it and enjoy it. They gave us bread and oil. My entree was the Milanese chicken and my partner got the short rib ragu rigatoni. The food was good, I just wish they had other pasta dishes out for the valentines special menu. “The restaurant is in a great location, close to all the attractions on Fifth Avenue. I advise you to reserve a table in advance, although I believe that the friendly staff would find you a nice free seat in the restaurant despite not having a reservation.
The ambiance is just as if you entered Italy.
The food is great, and the prices are okay for New York. A two-course lunch for two people, plus a drink, cost us about $120.
The portions are large, but the staff offers to pack leftovers for you to take home.
The bathrooms are neat.
At the time when we were having lunch, the table next to us had a birthday boy, so the song "happy birthday" was playing over the loudspeaker throughout the restaurant and the waiters gathered around the birthday boy's table and sang to him.

My only warning is - if you come for dinner, especially on a weekend, be ready to wait. It's free seating so there's lots of groups standing around waiting for a table to open up. The real bottleneck seems to be their pizza oven. We got our meal almost immediately except for the pizza - had to awkwardly wait for 20 additional minutes as people eyed our table.“

“This was second visit and it was beyond our already great expectations! Alex was an amazing server and Castro was the best. The first time we went in December he made this amazing mezcal fig drink and unfortunately they didn't have it this time around but he actually went in the basement and got the ingredients and made it for me, it was an amazing thing that he definitely didn't have to do, so sweet. You would never know how amazing the food is here because it's such in a random spot on Lexington but everyone that loves real Italian HAS to try this place! My boyfriend is a Roman Italian Chef so you know I'm telling the truth here.. They made my birthday lunch very memorable, so we're going to keep visiting them every time we come to New York!“
