Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. The eggs are hard boiled and reminiscent of soy sauced braised salty tea eggs, the broth is flavorful but nothing too special and the same can be said for the cha shu pork pieces. Overall 4/5. I don’t remember what my wife got besides the rock shrimp appetizer but I did help her finish her food and all of it was delicious, including the rock shrimp. I am a big eel fan so I got the unagi don as well as the dancing dragon. They were both a big serving, which was excellent. As for service, they were very nice and refills came quickly. “Can't beat their 3 roll lunch special for 13.95! They use quality fish and the ratio to rice is generous. The chefs seem more experienced than many other sushi spots in the same vicinity. I can't tell you how many times I had sushi that wasn't cut correctly and fell apart. The rice seem to be a little sticky but I rather have this than undercooked/old rice from Bleu Sushi. This is my go-to when I'm craving rolls for take-out.“
