“After visiting Marie’s for lunch one Saturday afternoon, we decided to have her do the catering for our son’s graduation party. When we had lunch there, the food was simply spectacular - you could taste the care it was made it. The jerk chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy. The rice and peas were perfect, the cabbage surprised me because I wouldn’t have asked for it to be added to my plate but I’m so glad it was because now I’m forever a fan of her cabbage side dish. The sweet plantains were SO GOOD! The patties she makes have a dough that is flaky and SUPER tasty - they were a hit at the party. I have never tasted catering this delicious - Jamaican food or otherwise. Hands down the best. We will be back. Highly recommend!“

“Amazing all around, I felt like I was back in Jamaica off the resort eating like a local. From the beef patties and coco bread, to the jerk chicken meal, to the jerk wings, and to the festivals... everything was exploding with flavor and absolutely delicious!!! The owner, Newell, who came out from the back was extremely humble and very nice. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!!!“

“The jerk chicken platter is the best. I've tried many different spots in DC/MD and NJ, but Cool Runnin's jerk chicken is top. The location right on Easton ave is tough to find parking and I wish they were on doordash or one of the other delivery services.“
