“Sound Bound Brook Location- Traveling to a new state without any food recommendations can be a challenge. I decided to search for soul food near me, and this restaurant came up. The food was incredible! We ordered an oxtails plate and a shrimp plate, both of which were an easy 10 out of 10. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere added to the experience. I think the guy sitting in front of us was the owner. His wife and kids were very sweet. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying more items from their menu. Oh, and the drink was fire.“

“Only giving 4 stars bcuz I've only eaten here once, and I'm kinda bias bcuz I only like soul food from Harlam or the deep south. However I door dased this place and was surprisingly pleased. “My family and I have been frequenting Savory Selections Catering's Fish fry since we moved to Scotch Plains. It is one of our favorite dinner places. Felton Jones always has fresh food and a friendly greeting. Everyone should check it out! Tonight!“

“Loved the cat fish every time. Always large portions and seasoned well. The lemon pepper chicken wings are also a favorite. I haven't been impressed with most sides. The macaroni salad and greens are good. The kitchen is always very clean!
