Our waitress, Ava, was awesome. We were given a small complementary bottle of Processo which was so nice! We have been there many times before and never had a bad meal. “We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. “We celebrated a milestone birthday in the dining area next to the terrace with delicious food and great service. The bar had a large selection of beer, wine had a dozen options, plus mixed drinks. The staff let me taste a couple beers before I chose one to go with my calamari appetizer which was very large and well prepared. I do think the standout appetizer was the tuna which had an amazing citrus flavor. For my main I had the sea bass while most of the others had streaks. I thought it was delicious and the rice delicious. Maybe a tad too much butter for me, but no complaints. I skipped desert but the chocolate cake and apple tarts looked amazing. Service was top notch, my water glass was consistently filled and the staff present but not too much so. A great late afternoon dining experience.“

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich along with a crumb cake, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was easily one of the top five breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had… perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The crumb cake was the ideal sweet follow-up, soft and not overly sugary.

“We held my mother and her twin brother’s 75th birthday in the Patio Room on Friday evening. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful. Everyone was stuffed! My favorite was the shrimp and scallops, my husband’s couldn’t get enough of the prime rib! Jonathan and his team took such great care of us. He was so attentive. I have no idea how he remembered what everyone was drinking because we were getting up and mingling, but he managed to make sure everyone had a drink in their hand. Being next to the pizza oven when it was below freezing made it so cozy! I would absolutely recommend Cinders; a great time was had by all.“

“I've been coming here for over 10 years, and it's still one of my favorite places to eat in town. Tonight I had the all-you-can-eat riblets, wings, & Double Crunch Shrimp, and everything was excellent. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the service was great as always.

“Just used cafe Pierrot to cater a sprinkle I was hosting. Everything was amazing! Placing the order was extremely easy- I sent an email and someone called me right away and quickly responded to any email questions I had. Everyone enjoyed the food and LOVED the cupcakes. Was able to pay in advance online so all I had to do was send someone for pick up the day of the party and everything was ready right away I think food is one of the hardest parts of planning a party. Never know what to get or how much. Being able to simply give them a number of guests and all I had to do was decide which type of salad I wanted, made this part of the party so simple and stress free! Love the one stop shopping aspect where I could get my food, sides, and even cupcakes all from one place. The spread they provide is the perfect mix and they provide the perfect amount, for an awesome price! Definitely recommend using them!!!“

“Haven’t been to any Fuddruckers in years since they closed in Wayne,NJ. Was amazed to see a location still open. They have a large game room for the kids. One upsetting thing they didn’t have fresh bakery like other locations. Food was hot and fresh. Plus unlimited fries . Was well worth it.“

“I live in Sparta and I visited for the first time yesterday for brunch with my friend, and Alice's did not disappoint. I was not aware we needed a reservation but they were able to get us in anyway which I appreciated after driving all the way there. I am a vegan and I struggle with finding places locally that accommodate that isn't plain avocado toast. I was so impressed when I saw vegan french toast on the brunch menu. To top it off, it was DELICIOUS. We also got mimosas and bellinis and our server was always checking on us and we never felt rushed. The views are also beautiful. I will continue coming back, and tell everyone I know. Thank you Alice's for being a fresh of breath air with the menu that accommodates all.“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“Looked like a local favorite pretty full on Monday night. The service was excellent the food great as usual. We had the Sante Fe salad with crispy chicken and South western egg rolls, Delicious!! Also tried the Cabo margarita and the El Presidente margarita. In today's world, where one struggles, especially if old like we are, to speak to a live human being, when you are able to converse with a person who is actually listening to what you said, this is rare. Add to that delicious fresh food and you have a winner. Tonight we had fresh large shrimps with a most delicious home made cocktail sauce. Fresh crab cakes with a fabulous remoulade, and a chocolate mousse to die for as dessert. We ordered too much and have to save some for tomorrow. We live in town, and are happy to see the names of so many out of town visitors appreciate Chesapeake Tavern.“

They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.“

“Wow! Used Stella G’s as my wedding caterer, and was absolutely blown away. The food was AMAZING. We were nervous about how the food would be but my husband and I were shocked by how delicious it was and the guests kept complimenting it was as well. The restaurant is family run and the owners did everything to make sure it was a hit. From initial emails, phone calls, questions, and menu selection they went above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how each bite of food we had was better than the last. They out did themselves on taste, presentation, professionalism, and courtesy. “We recently hosted a retirement party here, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Michelle went completely above and beyond with the decorations. She asked about our theme and color scheme beforehand and incorporated them into every detail of the room. We actually brought our own decorations and ended up not using most of them because she had already done so much to make the space look beautiful and personalized.

The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Everything was presented with the elegance and attention to detail you'd expect at a high-end wedding rather than a typical party. Our guests were genuinely impressed.

The staff was incredibly attentive throughout the event, making sure everyone was taken care of. John behind the bar was especially welcoming and fun, creating unique and delicious drinks that our guests loved.

The private event room is fantastic, complete with its own bar and bathrooms, making it comfortable and convenient for guests. And the panoramic view of Lake Hopatcong is simply unbeatable.
