“Food was good even if the wait was a little long (20-30 mins on a weekday) to be seated because there was 10 of us. Once seated the waitress was right there and the food came out pretty quickly. It was very good and we all left satisfied.Parking: You hafta find parking in the surrounding residential neighborhood but we still managed to find a spot withing a 5 minute walk.“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“Went to Avalon Links for the Easter brunch buffet with my family since we decided not to cook this year. Best decision ever!!! The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere top notch with great views of the golf course. Our server was very attentive and friendly and kept our beverages coming, I had Bloody Mary’s with just the right amount of spicy. We will most definitely be back for the Mother’s Day brunch! “A friend recommended Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Ocean City, NJ for breakfast. I had never been there but he insisted that we try it. Needless to say, I've never had pancakes that good, ever! Their coffee was equally as good. The waitress was fantastic and checked back several times and even had the entire menu memorized. Trust me, I tried giving her a few numbers, and she nailed everything listed at those numbers without hesitation. If you are in Ocean City, NJ, go check out Uncle Bill's Pancake House. You won't regret it. Happy Pancaking!!!!!Parking: Limited number of spots at the restaurant but ample places to park on street.“

“If you get tired of the “junk food” on the boardwalk, this is a good spot to hit. I did takeout twice while recently at Ocean City. I had the broiled scallop platter, which had a surprisingly number of scallops, along with a nice serving of spring mix. Perfect meal. The next day I had the apple walnut salad with grilled chicken. Nice portion, and it tasted great.“

“Great spot to grab some food and drinks! We were visiting family who live in the area and we stopped in for dinner and drinks. We got lucky and were seated right away near the second bar in the back. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They had a good selection of beers, I had a Mango Cart. They also had some fun mixed drinks on the menu that I hope to try next time. My Buffalo chicken wrap was yummy! It came with a bag of chips but you can upgrade to fries. They had a kids menu, which was appreciated since my son was with us. I know it says it everywhere but just another reminder, it's CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM machine inside.“

Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. “I almost don’t want to write this review at the risk of this place getting too popular to get a reservation. The Betz Room is simply The Best food in Ocean City, NJ. Nothing on the island compares. Not even close.You have to join as a member for a modest $25 per person. For those who do not know, Ocean City is a dry town and you cannot consume alcohol anywhere except a for few private clubs. Once you become a member of The Betz Room, you can BYOB and enjoy a fabulous menu. The foie gras app was seared to perfection, served on a date cake with ultra-thin rhubarb. Outstanding… as was the grilled asparagus with a perfectly poached egg, prosciutto and shaved parmigiana reggiano.Our mains were phenomenal. The agnolotti were al dente with a delicate ricotta filling. The seared scallops were the true gem though, perfectly caramelized one side and just a touch to the pan on the other left them perfectly cooked. They were on top of a raviolo with a touch of trout roe. Honestly, I could have closed my eyes and thought I was in a Michelin-rated restaurant (I just ate at one two days ago - so I know!!). The goat cheese cheesecake was sooo subtle and no, not goaty at all. Really, really great.So, if you are in OC and like food, you have to join The Betz Room. It is in a league of its own.“

This vibrant & welcoming restaurant is the perfect beach restaurant with yellow shiplap walls & nautical decorations, what's not to love! I ordered their smoked salmon savory crêpe & let me tell you... best savory crêpe I've ever eaten!!! The staff was warm, welcoming, & very hospitable & their kitchen was like a well oiled machine! “Went at lunch time. Definitely a local dive bar. Food prices were pretty reasonable for a shore town bar. Beer selection was pretty good with 15 beers on tap. Parking looks like it could be an issue later at night. Has pool tables and a number of tV’s. Food is basic bar food. Bartender was courteous and efficient.“

“We changed our minds about six times. As we read furth er in the menu we always wanted the next thing. Wish there was such a thing as a breakfast sampler platter - one of everything on the menu. Buttermilk pancakes were light and I couldn't eat all of mine. The sausage, bacon and eggs were very good but the home fries were outstanding. The coffee is fresh and we loved the coffee mugs. Paula was patient with us while we tried to narrow down our choices. We will absolutely be back.“

“Definitely purchase the bucket for $12, then the refills are 1/2 priced. So good, we got at least 1 bucket a day between 6 of us. A reviewer was right, they are kind of a hybrid between a steak and crinkle cut fries. They are good with both vinegar and ketchup.“

“Started going to Mrs. Brizzles about 7 years ago. The owner Mike & his wife are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Not only are their sandwiches huge, so are their personalities. Our entire family have made it a point to get to Mrs. Brizzles while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. You will not be disappointed! Would give them 6 stars!“
