“I love the Kung Fu Tea shops across NYC so was glad to see some more open outside the city! This location is in downtown Summit right near the train stain. Finding street parking or one of the limited lot spaces is a nightmare downtown, but inside the shop is very new and clean and laid out well.The menu was typical with multiple tea flavors and jellies to choose from, as well as the ability to customize the amount of ice and sugar in your drink. I came on a Saturday afternoon and my drink was ready in under 2 minutes which was very quick.The bubble tea (no milk) after tax came to a little over $5 which is significantly cheaper than NYC stores.“

“A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. “2nd time to visit. They have non dairy milk which is appreciated. The first time I ordered a Thai tea and with me ordered a dragonfruit green tea drink with dragonfruit popping bubbles. This time I got a taro milk tea and they got a taro Vietnamese iced coffee with boba. Everything has always been tasty. I have preferred the drinks that weren’t mine ? so now I am curious to try different things that aren’t typical. The woman that (likely) owns it was very sweet both times. Would like to try their food items sometime.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy options. I am caffeine sensitive and chose drinks that weren’t heavy on the tea.Parking: Three spots in front. “Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

“I've been in here a twice since they opened and this place is great. They have a wide selection of bubble tea options as well as ice cream (rolled) and other snacks. The first time I came, I got the lychee slushie with tapioca boba, which was really good. Next I got the chocolate chip rolled ice cream with m&m's, which was pretty good too. The owner is very friendly and actually remembered me when I came in the second time (maybe a month in between visits). They have a loyalty punch card for ice cream and drinks and several games in their retro seating area. There are some old school games and a little plastic axe throwing area which would be fun for kids. If you're looking for a yummy treat, give this place a try. It's their second location and the owner is very friendly, serving up tasty treats.“

“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“

The texture of the tapioca is always perfect, the flavors are all amazing, & the texture of the tea is super satisfying. Everything is a 10/10 and the drinks are affordable.“

“A cute little coffee shop nestled downtown. There's a few tables inside and it's atmospheric. They sell a few pastries and I happened to get the apple turnover which was just sweet enough. I tried the Apple Butter Caramel Latte with oat milk and it was very good. The caramel taste is subtle but flavorful and you get an apple cider taste as the main star. The staff is really nice as well! If you present a student ID you also get 10% off. i almost forgot but they also sell bubble tea here. I would definitely recommend this place and I know I'll be coming back here!“

“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!“

The marshmallow latte is delicious and waffles are made fresh to order. The bubble tea is delightful and the boba/tapioca pearls were also really fresh. Looking forward to stopping by again!“

“My daughter ordered from Millburn Poke Bowl today for delivery. The food arrived quickly. I had the sushi burrito....what great value for the money. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. I would highly recommend Millburn Poke Bowl if you want delicious, fresh ingredients and a very generous amount of them.“

The guy working there was very friendly and gave us his recommendations of desserts to try.Got the Cream puffs, Taro cake roll and Japanese Cheesecake. The cream puffs were really good, perfect level of sweetness and good texture and mouth feel. The Japanese Cheesecake was a bit of a letdown. They guy at the store highly recommended it but it was a fail overall. Barely sweetened and tasted quite bland.The Taro cake was pretty decent but really needed a bit more taro flavoring to really make it pop and be more bold.I'd consider coming back and trying more things and see if there other things here that catches my palette like those cream puffs. “Small tea shop that also serves decent fried chicken. There isn’t much room so it’s better to take it to go. The food is decent but the tea is much better. They have many flavors and options to choose from. Chicken was ok. I got the spicy one but there wasn’t much spice behind it. However it was very fresh and hot temperature wise. “EDIT:i’m very impressed by how this store listens to feedback. every single point I’ve listed on this review has changed. Here’s what I’ve noticed!- They’ve introduced a Buy One Get One Free happy hour for people to save money, and I would say it’s at the most convenient hour. I don’t think they are currently doing this promotion but it went on for months! They also have a student discount, cash back service connected to your phone number, and they have new stamp cards to get 1 free drink for every 10 drinks bought!- Every time I come here, there’s a tray of samples! Listening to feedback is clearly a strong suit with this store and I have a lot of appreciation for the management & employees here. The samples are different every time I come here which is very nice.- They’ve opened up their hours more, some days until 7 pm. This has made it a lot easier to come here and I really appreciate their flexibility!- They haven’t been out of stock with brown sugar boba in a very long time, so they definitely changed their inventory and restock. I appreciate this a lot as I know it may deter from their profit, but it definitely makes them more money to have this ingredient available !ORIGINAL REVIEW:I love this place. They have the best boba I have ever tried, their customer service is very kind, and the location itself is very cute. I genuinely do recommend coming here if you love boba or if you want to try. It’s the only boba place that I like!I’m addicted to their boba, but there are a few things that would make this place better to come to:- Prices are honestly high, i know boba is usually expensive, but i end up paying $7 for a normal 22 ounce milk boba. A 3.5% surcharge & having to pay for boba at all is a lot as well especially when the item’s already expensive. But they recently added a cash back system which I appreciate!- Menu is so so big which can be great, but it’s so overwhelming. I wish there were at least descriptions online, or samples!- Hours & Availability are limited. It’s hard to get there by 6 before it closes when most people get off work at 5 if they have a normal job.- Lastly, at least 40% of the time I go, they are out of boba. For a tea place, I feel like it’s supposed to be a staple of the store. I work at a restaurant so I get that it’s hard to predict when things may be out of stock, but for the amount of times I have driven here and left empty handed, as well as it being the main selling point, I feel as though it should happen less.Vegetarian options: Lots of dairy, vegetarian, and other options listed on menuDietary restrictions: Lots of options removable and easy to add“

“We just go here bc the Boba is always good and is consistent. Although this is nicely decorated, There is no seating here. It's very small and strangely very warm each time. The service is just okay. They just take your order and enter it into their system. There is no above and beyond here. We just get our drinks and leave and it's not complicated.“

“A small little boba shop that I happened upon on a craving, and I can safely say this scratched the itch for good boba. I'm usually pretty picky about flavor powders and how at a lot of places they don't dissolve properly but for at least the taro and strawberry drinks I tried, the flavor was very well mixed. I think the popping boba was a little mild on the flavor, but that's a minor thing. +1 for the cool canned presentation too!“
