I reached out to the restaurant in advance to make the reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure that the reservation was correct. I then was able to follow up and pre-order appetizers for our group and the staff at Agricola made great recommendations that everyone loved.

Our dining experience was incredible and with amazing service from Marco everyone was thoroughly impressed! The food and drinks were phenomenal which added to the experience!

“My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. “Food was decent and we had great table service from the bartender that was there when we were in for lunch between 11:30 and 1 PM on a Tuesday . The negative is the 4% credit card surcharge. Firstly, I don’t like that surcharge and secondly, I have not seen establishments charge 4% so that seemed excessive.“

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The octopus appetizer was cooked to perfection, and the olives that accompanied it were hands down the best I’ve ever had. For my entrée, I had the harper steak, and I can confidently say it was one of the most flavorful steaks I’ve had in years. Every bite was a 10/10, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of the meal.
