“This is a great spot for the people that are familiar with the Indian cuisine and are looking for a comfort food spot. Their chicken curry was really creamy and tasty and the meat was tender. Their waiter was really kind and patient with us but the food did take a little longer than we expected. Also when you come in to this restaurant you get a strong smell of their Indian spices and overall food which might throw away some people but definitely not me.“

“Bawarchi is owned and operated by, Aziz. He is a sociable man who is a trained chef serious about his food. The prices are honest at his small storefront restaurant which has only three tables to sit at. The hot food buffet for lunch is terrific, and I get a small container to go for around $11.
There's a delicious selection of Caribbean and Indian cuisine that is always hot and always fresh. I select the vegetarian, shrimp, or fish dishes, although I do know that my colleagues enjoy all the meat options offered. The food is skillfully prepared & you always get a free piece of naan bread, and a complimentary water or soda.
Eat here next time you're at 104th Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan. It's simple, convenient and tastes very good.

We walked in on a Wednesday evening & the restaurant was empty except another family, dining in. The restaurant is clean, modern & a minimalist design.
Ordering was easy, we ordered a variety of appetizers, curries, pizzas, desserts & drinks.
The Naan pizzas are my favorite, their curries are good too! Make sure you specify your spice level when ordering.
There is paid street parking, so make sure you bring coins / pay by the app. I believe after 4 or 6pm, parking becomes free. The staff is great, welcoming & very friendly. Do note that their food is 10x better when you dine in. I've ordered delivery many times, & dine in tastes so much better!

We had the chicken tikka masala and the dal makhni, along with rice and some paratha. Everything was extremely tasty. The chicken in the tikka masala was well seasoned and well cooked, but still tender and juicy. The lentils were delicious, and the bread and rice were perfect. They even included a small dessert of some kind on the house. It looked like a rice pudding, which was fantastic. It was very clean and calm.

“Finally got to visit this authentic Kerala restaurant. I wasn't disappointed. Really good food (PN: salt is low) keeping health into consideration. I enjoyed their podhichoru.

I was really impressed with the quantity considering it was a take away and not dine. I also met Aby. He was such a gentleman and helped me with the order when I arrived at the restaurant. Dine in has limited tables.

Also I was told that it gets very busy between 12 to 3 pm. Take away would be advisable during this time period. Especially Friday to Sunday.
