“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in Bergen County. A really elevated dining experience with nice options at every course. The focaccia was great to start with, every single salad was fantastic, I loved the pork Milanese, but the homemade gnocchi was incredible.

Lemon tart to finish was balanced and elegant.

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“Delicious! We had an amazing experience here as a party of 7 (4 kids, 3 adults) to celebrate my dad's birthday. The meats (I had the pork chop, my dad the vineyard chicken) were cooked to perfection....juicy and tender. My favorite part was that the kids meals came with green beans! Finally, something other than a beige kids menu. And no chicken fingers. My kids were forced to diversify, and they loved every bite. They had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and burger. Great family-friendly option for a classy dining experience.“

We are regulars and love how the menu changes and new exciting specials show up all the time. Everything is amazing but we do have favorites in particular The Crepe appetizers and the Jagerschnitzel and whatever duck creation they do. “I walked into this small cafe without even thinking they had such a great variety of food… I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!! The pizza is fantastic, thin airy crispy crust … so delicious!!!

I ordered the drunken parm sandwich and it was made fresh, the breaded chicken was made right then not cold and frozen like other places.. they put the perfect amount of cheese and sauce .. it was crispy and not messy. The hero bread was delicious too! I cannot rave enough about this place!

“Came here for the first time last weekend, and was blown away. Definitely one of the best spots to eat in bergen county. The space is so well decorated down to every detail, and it is the best mix of cozy and elegant. The service was also top notch. The food was the highlight as it should be. Oysters, polenta fries, and the unique arancini were all excellent. For entree I had the free bird chicken which was excellent. Couldn't reccomend enough.“

“We had an absolutely wonderful meal on Thanksgiving. We ordered the usual turkey dinner and it was was scrumptious. I believe the new chef owner brings the experience to whole other level. We loved it. We are going back Christmas Eve! I do have to say I was disappointed a restaurant of this level and price point charges a 3% credit card fee. This is a first for us as we frequent comparable fine dining restaurants and we were never charged a fee. Food for thought.“

“Very chill family owned and operated North Jersey tavern and steakhouse. It's cash-only, but there is an ATM up front near the bar. The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktail specials (and a good variety of each). Service is friendly and your meal will likely be cooked and/or served by the the owning family.“

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. “The food tastes delicious. I think if the place is called Gyro it is reasonable that they cut the meat from the gyro in front of you. However that is not the case the gyro meat is in a container just like in a cart in the city. And to be 100% honest, considering that I paid over $15 for a platter with a Coke and it is served in a plastic Tupperware with plastic fork, at the very least the portions should be bigger. It is not the case, not a lot of rice, not a lot of meat, not a lot of salad. I think I would go more often otherwise.
However the taste is there and it tastes pretty good.“

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant since it opened and we finally made it. We looked at the chef's tasting but didn't like the lack of choices so decided to go on Sunday for the a la carte. The space is lovely and cozy. They had a nice table for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We brought a nice bottle of wine and started with the beets and the salsify. The beets were super smokey which was fine but after a couple of bites it was very overwhelming as it took over so the other flavors. The salad needed more seasoning as well as some citrus. The salsify was very well done and it was delicious! My husband ordered the cod which was good but spectacular and I ordered the duck which was quite underwhelming. It needed seasoning and the fat wasn't rendered as well so the skin wasn't very crispy. Considering the prices, I would have expected more. We didn't bother with dessert.“

We’ve been dining at The Front Porch regularly for the past 12 months and not only is the food creative and delicious (Asian fusion pub food, so YUMMY!), the staff is super friendly and the drinks are awesome. “What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!

My husband and I stumbled across this small grill diner hidden in the cut — and what a find! We stopped in for brunch and everything was spot on. He had the shrimp and grits, and I went with the meat lovers with egg whites. Both dishes were so good — seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and the service was just as excellent. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with quality food. 👌🏼“
