“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

“I could start with the food but I wouldn’t have had any if it weren’t for the manager, hostesses and staff that made sure my stupid mistake of reservations on the wrong Sunday wasn’t just discarded and made me deal with my mistake. From the hostesses to the manager on Sunday 2/15 they made me feel like they made the mistake and scrambled to fix it and get us our table. They were all so kind and amazing. Probably the most fantastic cus let service ever. And them the food…everything I was serve was presented with knowledge and care and fantastic presentation. But in the end, the taste is the most important and the food was to die for. We had a lot of fish and every last morsel was cooked to perfection and I can say it was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. A billion kudos to fantastic food, amazing service and staff that make you feel comfortable and enthusiastic about every last piece of food we ate. I cannot possibly portray how happy and satisfied I was with every second of my experience. I know we should expect amazing food from a critically acclaimed restaurant but the fact that they could simply rely on that obviously isn’t enough for this restaurant. Food, service, every moment was worth every second and every pretty penny it cost. I would do it over and over and everyone else should too! I feel awful I cannot name every person because they all deserve to be recognized so please, every person that worked on 2/15…I made sure my tip reflected it but please, management, recognize them. You have chosen well and all your staff and food is to die for. A million times over, if you can make it there, run there! You will be happy beyond what you. Ould have imagined.“

“This is a very quaint cute little restaurant nestled in Warwick NY on the boarder of NJ. It is expensive but the quality is exceptional! Well worth the money. The menu changes seasonally since it is farm to table. Need reservations or you won't get a table. It's a very small restaurant about 6 tables. The restaurant is right next to a creek and has a very cozy vibe. Can't say enough about the food, it really is wonderful, great for a nice night out. You will not be disappointed and I always leave very full! About $100-$150 per person if getting 3 courses and alcoholic drink(s), they have a wine and beer menu and loose leaf teas! Would obviously be less if not getting the 3 course option that they have or alcohol. Hope you have a great time here like I did!“

“TLDR: Top tier brisket. Nearly as good as Texas brisket and certainly best I have had in New Jersey thus far. The hidden restaurant in the middle of a garden is so quaint and peaceful, I recommend going for lunch or a cozy dinner. View of the surrounding hills is also amazing.

Quality of Food: I had no complaints about the food. The garden salad was refreshing and did not lack in its flavor. The brisket was AMAZING. If you look at my other reviews, you will find I am originally from the south and have frequented a few BBQ places in New Jersey, all of which have fallen short of what I have come to find as quality BBQ. This. Did. Not. Disappoint. The brisket was slightly marbled and melted in your mouth. I can only imagine the quality of the Rib Steak if the brisket was top notch. The cornbread was the only thing I could say was standard taste and quality.

Quality of Service: It was neither over-the top nor mediocre service. Seemed like a decent amount of young adults were waiting on tables. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to a festival, but we had no issues getting our order taken, food delivered and check processed quickly.

Environment & Ambiance: Can't be compared to the other locations at the resort. The garden by itself is adorable and makes you feel like you're in a storybook. Looking out towards the hills provides a feeling of awe. The outside ambiance and cute tables and chairs makes you feel like you're joining Alice at a tea party.

Pricing and Concerns: It's certainly not cheap if you are ordering their higher priced options. However, that being said, it is most definitely worth every penny. Not to mention you're at a resort, so what would you expect besides expensive dishes? For a party of two you can keep it under $$$. Add drinks or an extra person and you're going over. No other concerns to note.

“Finally made it to the new location today with hubby. We sat at the bar and spoke with John. I have to say what a beautiful place John has built here. Beers were cold and the burger was delicious. Spacious indoors and beautiful wrap around porch with seating. Definitely will be visiting again. Oh and plenty of parking. 🍻👏🍔“
