“Loved it! Guacamole with fried plantains was delicious. I had the steak with garlic shrimp, very good. My friends enjoyed their dishes too. Drinks were also great- I had the Cucumber Margarita with Don Julio & it was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Trendy atmosphere and cool murals. Service was wonderful- friendly, attentive & knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.“

“Cosme is a true celebration of flavor and elevated Mexican cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance—elegant, warm, and thoughtfully designed, with well-spaced tables that allow for comfortable conversation without overhearing your neighbors.

The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Our party of six ordered everything at once and shared family-style, and the pacing of each course was spot on.

We started with all the appetizers, and it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite. The scallops al pastor, the corn, and the bass were each exceptional in their own way—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor.

For mains, the standout was the duck carnitas—tender, rich, and perfectly executed. An off-menu tomahawk ribeye, served with house-made salsa and fresh corn tortillas, was another highlight—arguably better than what you’d find at a top steakhouse.

Although Cosme offers a thoughtful wine list, we found ourselves captivated by the cocktails. The spicy margarita was a favorite, and the mezcal flight was both fun and expertly curated.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert—but that only gives us another reason to return. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.“

“U planned my birthday party at La Contenta LES and would highly recommend everyone do the same! We were a table of 8 - and the offer for a prix fixe for that side group is great. They worked with me to select a menu and it was very easy to communicate with them. The night itself was great, everyone was so nice. The food is always excellent (I’ve been many times already), and the portions were huge! Would definitely celebrate another occasion here.“

The aguachile and ceviches we've tried have been good. Was pleasantly surprised by their cocktails. Particularly like the Fridita and the Paloma. The couple that runs the restaurant is very kind. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal.
