Drinks were also great- I had the Cucumber Margarita with Don Julio & it was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Trendy atmosphere and cool murals. Service was wonderful- friendly, attentive & knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.“

“LOVED this new restaurant. A must try! The mole sauce on the enchiladas was out of this world DELICIOUS (and gluten free!) and they were super excellent taking care with my allergies. Oysters were fresh and incredible. Cocktails really great, the spicy marg is better than the regular one and the happy hour on Mondays is awesome! Vibe super great as well as the service. My ONLY complaint were the chips, but I feel it's a super important thing at a mexican place to have good chips. These were charred, bland and flavorless, and while I LOVED that they were celiac safe gluten free (not fried in a frier with flour), they kind of ruined what were otherwise decent salsas. They were also a bit chewy almost in a stale way, but the lack of flavor, texture and no salt was the main problem. We actually held back our salt from our oysters to help with the chips, but it didn't solve the texture or overall taste. Otherwise this place was incredible if the chips were good it would have a 11/10 from me and I'd be a regular!!!!! Still will definitely go back here, and hopefully they will reinvent their chips!“

“Service: Gustavo man, Gustavo. This Brother gave us top tier service, Masha Allah. He was extremely patient as I was really undecided on what to order since it was authentic Mexican and he really kept our interests in mind. I kept calling him over and over again but he kept smiling and you can tell he was genuinely understanding. He greeted us with Salaam and was so courteous through our whole time there. He also checked in on us to make sure things were going good. Great customer service is something that I never overlook and this customer service I received was one of the best.

Food: And the food was so good. It came out one by one so we had stuff to eat from the moment we sat down with the tortilla chips. Had all of our food within 10 min or so which was great. We had Birria tacos, steak bowl, the special quesadilla (forgot the name as it's in Spanish but it had maiz in the name), and tortilla chips. Everything was delicious and legitimately tasted like an authentic foreign cuisine. It is not your average Mexican bowl place. Heavy props to the chef for the amazing flavors and textures of the food!

Halal: I mostly eat at HFSAA or HMS Halal certified locations. So considering they were also certified is always my first step to going to any restaurant. I wouldn't have even come if they weren't certified.

From the moment I contacted the restaurant through to the end of my party everything was handled with total professionalism and focused concern to meet my needs. The food was simply outstanding, we had a wide variety of passed appetizers and entrées covering the full menu. Everyone raved about it. The restaurant staff was very friendly and flexible, adapting to changing circumstances as needed. The drinks were crafted and well made, and the bar was well staffed, providing easy access (open bar); they even thought ahead to have some wine and drinks available on passed trays so that there was never a crowd waiting at the bar. I cannot say enough good things about the service, the food, and the thoughtfulness.

We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“We came here after my wife’s aunt just passed away and she was about to head home to put down her childhood dog. Server saw her crying and started feeding us shots and didnt charge us for them. Servers are people and they understood our general sadness. 11/10 would come back again just because the service was great, not because of the few free shots.
