“New remodel was completed. It looks much more modern, clean, and bright. 15% discount for UBS employees, which is nice. I like the new offerings they have, and will try them over time. Today I had a chicken cutlet sandwich with avocado, bacon, and garlic aioli. The chicken was a good portion, and not dry at all. I wish I tasted more of the garlic aioli. The sandwich came with the traditional pickle and cole slaw sides. Also bought some snacks and 2 drinks. Total came to about $20.“

“I like their bagels but their prices for everything else are quite inflated. They charge almost forty dollars for a pound of whitefish salad. So I buy bagels there and food elsewhere.“

“Probably the most special place to me in NYC. I love the bagel menu (super heebster forever), the atmosphere, and the workers. There’s nothing quite like taking a number, browsing the desserts, and squeezing into the shop between all kinds of humans. Russ & Daughters exemplifies what NYC is to me. 🩵“

“The best bagels hands down! This has become our "go to" stop each time we pass through NY for bagels. Great customer service. We can call ahead and they have the order ready for our multiple (and large) family order with everything perfect! Super helpful and also help with bringing the many bags out to the car! So much appreciation! Thanks guys! Can't wait to see you again!“

“My first visit to NY. Heard good things about this place as it was ideally located next to our hotel. Food was fresh, service excellent and made to feel very welcome by the staff. It was a truly NY experience. Kind regards to the staff from your friends from London.“

“The SMB absolutely blew me away. I thought it was a perfect balance of salty, sweet, light kick of spice. The beef was season so perfectly and was soft and tender. The egg was super fluffy and I really enjoyed the kimchi to add another flavor profile. The bagel itself was also delicious - light crunch on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Perfect texture and honestly it was such great value for a huge bagel. The owner gave out free rice balls because the wait was getting long and those were delicious too.“

“Great choice for specialty bagel
As someone born and raised in New York, I’m always on the hunt for a solid bagel spot and Curley’s Bagels caught my attention. It’s a grab and go place, but the inside is surprisingly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Definitely more elevated than your average bagel shop.
When I walked in, I was impressed by the variety. They had tons of specialty bagels, options with avocado and eggs, and even gluten-free bagels, which is a great choice for anyone with dietary needs. I was tempted to try something creative, but I decided to stick with a classic: a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese “my personal favorite”. Lol
The woman at the counter was super kind and helpful, and the overall vibe from the staff was warm and welcoming. Even though it was busy, my bagel was made quickly. I also grabbed a coffee, which had a nice bold, dark roast flavor. They offered oat milk, almond milk, and half and half something for everyone.
Biting into the bagel, it was everything I wanted: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with generously spread scallion cream cheese full of flavor and fresh herbs. Honestly, it felt more like a luxury bagel experience than your typical deli stop.
I spent about $9 for a bagel and coffee, which is a bit on the higher side, but the quality made it worth it. Plus, it was within walking distance from my doctor’s office, so it felt like a great find in the neighborhood.
If you’re nearby and want a quick, delicious bite with great service and thoughtful options, I definitely recommend checking out Curley’s Bagels. Enjoy“

“A true “holy grail” of bagel shops. Their menu is the perfect balance of the classic NYC bagels we know and love, but with some newer flavor combos added to the menu that make eating here both nostalgic and exciting. The Presto Pesto is one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. Make sure you try their chocolate muffins as well. While it can get busy, the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“This bustling bagel shop packs people in and out for big delicious bagel sandwiches. Midtown prices are no objects for those lining up for all flavors and coffee, probably because the bagels are big and delicious and the line moves efficiently. It’s a real New York feeling, tourists and all, with a combination of all ages and backgrounds ready for the classic breakfast take.
I had the smoked salmon special on everything untoasted, scooped with scallion cream cheese. It was great - the ultra thin cucumbers meshed so well with the tomato. Untoasted came out faster, too; I walked out faster than I thought.
It’s busy as heck, so enter and move to the left for the line. There are menus you can grab and read as you move.
There are a few small tables in the back. Super well run by experienced staff.“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. Now, yes, I know they pride themselves for their bagels, but truth be told, I don't eat bagels... but my wife LOVES their bagels. -Boots“

“I loooooove B Bagel! The brothers who own it are so nice and I'm really happy to support their business. My husband and I usually go on Sunday and there is something about waiting in the line that's oddly enjoyable... not to mention the food is totally worth the wait! I have been getting the Levant on a Sesame or Everything Bagel and it hits the spot for me. My husband always gets the Big B without cheese and has decided it's his favorite meal in Jersey City and favorite breakfast of all time. The bagels and bagel sandwiches are all awesome, the inside of the shop is busy and friendly, couldn't recommend it more!
What's absolutely underrated here are the pastries. I got a sprinkle cookie today which was literally life changing and I will be getting it every week from now on.“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“Excellent breakfast choice in FiDi at the East end of Wall Street. Modern interior, spacious seating and a big breakfast menu featuring bagels, salads, eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, sandwiches, and they get a huge plus for having turkey bacon. The restaurant was immaculately clean and the food fresh. I wish they toasted my bagel more and it wasn't the best bagel ever for NY but very good nonetheless. Highly recommended ‼️“

“I was visiting and asked someone on the street where I could grab a bagel and they directed me to Bagel Bob’s. So thankful they did. Best bagels, incredible people, generous friendly caring family people. They greeted me warmly every day, remembered what we talked about the day before, asked about my day and seemed genuinely interested. This was my first solo trip and they made me feel right at home. And a beautiful plant showed up on my last day which was lovely. I’ll definitely be staying in this neighborhood the next time I’m visiting but daily breakfast here just isn’t enough. I’m about to get a bagel sandwich to take to the airport with me with the homemade black and white they generously gave me on the house. Top notch place food and people. You won’t regret the trip here.“

“Tried this spot today for the first time
I ordered three sandwiches
Turkey, bacon, egg & cheese on a plain bagel: classic
Garlic bagel with pastrami, egg & cheese. They don’t skimp on the pastrami
Turkey sausage, egg & cheese on a croissant.
I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.
Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good
The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.
It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

“Apollo’s Lox Bagels are incredibly delicious and definitely among the best bagels in NYC. The hype is truly justified.
The bagel rolls are delicately toasted, and the salmon and cream cheese combination is perfect. A real treat!
Luckily, the shop in the East Village isn't as crowded as the location north of Washington Square Park. We didn't even have to wait 10 minutes on a Friday at 3 p.m., which is practically a world record in NYC. The team is quick and appropriately friendly.
Since there's hardly any seating, it's best to take your bagels to go and eat them in the chilled Tomkins Square Park.
Highly recommended!“

“Classic neighborhood staple. Been having the ham and egg since I was a kid. The two man team behind the counter can make you a sandwich in about 2-3 mins so if you’re running late for the F train you can still get a solid (and cheap) breakfast. The ice coffee is pretty good for deli coffee as well (ask for 1/2 sugar with vanilla!)“
