“If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else.The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. “Food was absolutley outstanding. We love Indian food and I have travelled there twice. This was maybe some of the finest Indian food I’ve had outside of India. We each have different tastes, and the debate was spicy or not. They prepared the dishes in half portions — half spicy/half mild. This was perfect. Food was so fresh and great sized portions. “Honestly didn't know what to expect before arriving since I'm not too familiar with Indian food in general and it was just a random spot we chose to eat before flying back home.We ended up getting the lamb chop, goat curry and chicken tikka masala and I was really impressed with the food. My favorite was the goat curry actually. The flavor is reminiscing of a goat dish my family would make sometime as well which was a pleasant surprised.It was strange though to see the place basically empty on a Friday lunch even though it's already a small restaurant but I would definitely recommend this place and I'd come back again if I get the chance.“

“Their food and catering is constantly delicious, we have been ordering and eating in here for close to 1.5 years. Their flavors are closest to Delhi. Love their Dal Bukhara, Pandara Road Butter Chicken, Paneer Dilruba and Kur Kuri Bhindi. Their kebabs are amazing too, specially malai and haryali.“

“Enormous menu, and while that can often waterdown quality, that's not the case here. The butter chicken baos and somosa chaat appetizers were a great start. The Punjabi goat curry and goat korma were tasty entrees, but the portions are small. Do not miss out on the Naan. It was a perfect compliment to the curries. Vibe is a little weird. One part Indian restaurant, one part sports bar... Just a little odd. Either way I'd go back.“

“I love Lazeez restaurant. More so we love Rocky bhaiya-The chef of this restaurant. He makes everything the best. But the pasta that he cooks for us is sooooo delicious and incredible and made of love. I can't even explain how much we love it. My husband and I both looks for him when we go there. “This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! Recently, I took a few work acquaintances here, and they had nooooo idea what Indian food even was, let alone what to expect. Our waiter was gracious and took care to help each one understand what was in the food and worked with our gluten free member to make sure she had food to eat. But DAMN .. i never knew an order for one person under 25 dollars would take more than an hour at most almost two hours …It’s everytime i order too!! especially when i live right down the street! Literally one block away. I can’t drive , so i do doordash ..i don’t blame doordash but jeez .. theyre either slacking or really making it fresh on the spot. Either way i shouldnt be waiting an hour and a half EVERYTIME i order from here when i live 2 mins away drive. “This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.“

Layered Paratha was also good, but being a South Indian, I was expecting it to be more layered and fluffy. Overall, I would definitely recommend, but I personally liked the Curry better.“
