“What a truly amazing dining experience. The food was ? with authentic flavors and generous portions served with a generous south Indian attitude. What made it more special was that we had some people in our party who were fasting. The servers went out of their way to bring them dates and checked in repeatedly, to make them feel welcome.Highly recommend this place for an authentic south Indian meal!We had..Masala dosaSouth Indian ThaiMini tiffinsAdair aviyalChola bhaturaCocktail idliPaneer Tikka“
“If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else. The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. It’s made fresh and served hot! Excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed.“
“Food was absolutley outstanding. We love Indian food and I have travelled there twice. This was maybe some of the finest Indian food I’ve had outside of India. We each have different tastes, and the debate was spicy or not. They prepared the dishes in half portions — half spicy/half mild. This was perfect. Food was so fresh and great sized portions. Will be back.Vegetarian options: On the menu.Dietary restrictions: He asked.Parking: Maplewood tends to be busy.“
“Delicious and authentic Indian food. Shrimp vindaloo and lamb were great. The spicy naan and everything naan were super delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with getting orders of our liking. Clean and simple setting/decor with a touch of class. Will be back for sure.“
“From customer service to the food quality, every aspect of my family’s experience at this gem was top-tier. The staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. The food is fresh and hot when it reaches your table. I cannot wait to come back with my family again! Give this place a chance. You will not regret it!“
“The absolute best Indian food I've ever had!!!I have enjoyed indian food for past 25 years already too..Went yesterday, everything was delicious!!The jerra aloo, and onion pakora were incredible! Nicest Service very friendly helpful and welcoming Great vegan menu, loved it!! I will be back for sure, can't wait to try other yummy dishes ,thank you Beautiful place, decor is so pretty very nice atmosphere aswell“
“Honestly didn't know what to expect before arriving since I'm not too familiar with Indian food in general and it was just a random spot we chose to eat before flying back home.We ended up getting the lamb chop, goat curry and chicken tikka masala and I was really impressed with the food. My favorite was the goat curry actually. The flavor is reminiscing of a goat dish my family would make sometime as well which was a pleasant surprised. It was strange though to see the place basically empty on a Friday lunch even though it's already a small restaurant but I would definitely recommend this place and I'd come back again if I get the chance.“
“Their food and catering is constantly delicious, we have been ordering and eating in here for close to 1.5 years. Their flavors are closest to Delhi. Love their Dal Bukhara, Pandara Road Butter Chicken, Paneer Dilruba and Kur Kuri Bhindi. Their kebabs are amazing too, specially malai and haryali.“
“Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we have had in a while...Highly recommend! This is our third time eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch.“
“I have not been here yet, but I went through many of the reviews and also have the pleasure to know someone personally that could not say anything else BUT WONDERFUL things about the flavorful food and spices.I am also looking forward to meeting Alok seems to be the #️⃣1 employee ??“
“Enormous menu, and while that can often waterdown quality, that's not the case here. The butter chicken baos and somosa chaat appetizers were a great start. The Punjabi goat curry and goat korma were tasty entrees, but the portions are small. Do not miss out on the Naan. It was a perfect compliment to the curries. Vibe is a little weird. One part Indian restaurant, one part sports bar... Just a little odd. Either way I'd go back.“
“We love this woman owned, Pakistani /Indian restaurant that recently opened. Food is typical street food. Kathi rolls, chaat. Yumm! Clientele is diverse, service is excellent. We love that you will see the owner herself there all the time. That makes a huge difference. Can’t wait to go again!“
“The perfect dinner for a winter evening. My girl would not have the Indian flag dish - chicken Tika Masala anywhere else. And they have Thai Tom Yum soup. Freshly baked Nasn, attentive service, highly recommended!!!Parking: Come at 7, meters run out.“
“I want to thank the management team of Rishtta Banquet. I hosted an event and all the things the management team did for helping me with my event was above and beyond. The party area was nice and clean and everyone at our event had said great things about the food that was served. Thank you once again.“

“I love Lazeez restaurant. More so we love Rocky bhaiya-The chef of this restaurant. He makes everything the best. But the pasta that he cooks for us is sooooo delicious and incredible and made of love. I can't even explain how much we love it. My husband and I both looks for him when we go there. Even we order online, we always asks for him. Rocky bhaiya you Rock. He also sent us Rasgulla Chaat papdi especially made omg have never had that yummy food. Thank you for everything.“
“We dine in at this restaurant in a group, they are all very friendly people and they brought the food on time. Nabin was our server he was very friendly. I was would like to recommend my friends and colleagues to visit the restaurant if you are near New Jersey area. Ask for a NAbin as a server. We will definitely visit the place again in future. Thanks!!“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“Just got back from a Sunday buffet lunch with my husband and 2 kids. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the service was wonderful. The food was on point and not greasy at all. The flavors of everything were well balanced. Loved the mutton, dragon chicken, naan, and the kheer.“
“LOVED IT! This Indian Resturant has a unique upbeat vibe. and a friendly staff. Expect A more modern glimpse of the culture with light decor and current music. Very clean. Reasonable prices.. allowing us tasty appetzers and a fresh mango lasse! Generous portions. Most importantly the food was freshly prepared and expertly seasoned and tasted it. They also have a terrific, reasonable lunch buffet.! A+++++! Can't say enough. So glad they are here..Parking: It is located in a strip mall with ample parking.“
“I've been here a few times with my fellow colleagues and friends, and each time we're treated kindly. Recently, I took a few work acquaintances here, and they had nooooo idea what Indian food even was, let alone what to expect. Our waiter was gracious and took care to help each one understand what was in the food and worked with our gluten free member to make sure she had food to eat. The food was amazing, as it always is, and everyone was blown away.Don't hesitate to stop in, they know what they're doing here and it shows! The lunch special is incredibly reasonable and very delish as well if you need a fast yet delicious lunch.“
“Nice place, conveniently located by the Short Hills Station. Highly recommend coming here before 2 and checking out their lunch boxes - generous portions, not too expensive, and of course delicious. Also love their Malai Chicken Kebabs and Samosa Chaat.“
“We ordered chicken momos , egg wrap chicken biryani, pani poori, malai kofta chicken and lamb curry. Non veg quality was very good. The malai kofta curry was extremely creamy and authentic without being too sweet. The surprise was chicken momos that was superb! Highly recommend this dish.“
“My husband and I went to Jyoti for dinner and we were so pleased with everything! It’s family owned and you can feel the care from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Friendly, attentive service. Delicious food very authentic. They even gave us free mango drinks to help us with the spice! This place deserves 5 star reviews and we will be back!! And our server Megha was lovely, ? thank you!!!“
“food is delicious, i try to order here everytime i crave it…. But DAMN .. i never knew an order for one person under 25 dollars would take more than an hour at most almost two hours …It’s everytime i order too!! especially when i live right down the street! Literally one block away. I can’t drive , so i do doordash ..i don’t blame doordash but jeez .. theyre either slacking or really making it fresh on the spot. Either way i shouldnt be waiting an hour and a half EVERYTIME i order from here when i live 2 mins away drive. Delicious but not the best service when i eat there either .. still good though.Vegetarian options: im vegetarian. has a lot of options“
“We dined at Chand palace frequently, food and ambience of the restaurant is excellent.Service is very good with variety of options in appetizers, main course and desserts.Beetroot tikki at live service station is awesome.Overall great place to go with friends and family to enjoy!!!!!!“
“Delivery Order: Definitely one of the better options for Indian Food. For someone who gets disappointed time and again with my Biryani Orders, this was a welcome relief. Briyani and Noodles both tasted pretty good. I have been to the Edison branch in person, and the taste seems to be consistent here.“
“Visited this place in Jan 2024 on a Sat evening, was very shocked at the decline in food quality,- Had visited restaurant in Dec 2023 - and food was excellent! Not sure why quality of cooking declined so fast -- it had consistently been one of the best Indian restaurants in the area for year, in the past.“
“I’m a little confused why the rating is not higher, because i’m happy to report that we’ve tried different dishes about 3-4 times now, and each time was pretty good!So far we’ve eaten lamb dishes and paneer dishes. All have been delicious. The only thing is that the person who answers the calls doesn’t know the differences of taste in each curry.“
“This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.“
“Oh myyyy I wish I lived closer. Definitely a hidden gem. I just wish it was much bigger than it is. Everyone there was so nice I was greeted pleasantly and Yogender made me feel like I was family. He answered all of my questions perfectly, recommended some options and he was extremely respectful. If ever I were to end up in this area again I would definitely return.“
“Initially We came to this area for another restaurant, however that closed by 2:30 pm and hence came for lunch with my family of kids. And it was the best choice. Vaishnav thali was plentiful, samosas were very big and we loved their sweets. Service was pretty quick and the person was very sweet.Definitely coming again !!Vegetarian options: Fully vegetarian“
“Delivery Order: All the items were packed well, and delivered on time. Biryani was just average and tasted tangy for some reason. Lamb Curry was really yummy though. Layered Paratha was also good, but being a South Indian, I was expecting it to be more layered and fluffy. Overall, I would definitely recommend, but I personally liked the Curry better.“
