“We chose Spasso because my sister remembered it from years ago. We had a relatively early dinner at Spasso the evening of Philly's first Friday of the season. We had a great seat by the street facing windows. Our server was friendly and provided great service. We all enjoyed our meals, generous portions, so we did have some to take home. Overall, a great experience, we would return. Saw several people same evening who all said they hadn't been there in years. After our description of dinner, they said they would visit soon. Yum!“

“A very cool one stop shop in the neighborhood. We dropped in for a couple of deli breakfast sandwiches and we’re not disappointed. We both created our own sandwiches inspired by some of their preselected options while adding our own touch. The flavors were great, the bagels were good quality, and we saved a part of one to bring with us just so we can have it again. Great selection of snacks and drinks. Looks like they have a cafe but we did not check that out. It smelt very good though! Stop in if you are in the area!

Note you have to take your ticket from the machine you order on to the cashier our front, then take it with you back to the deli when they call your number. The cashier will give you a stamp to show you paid.“

Finally stopped in for lunch and got a hot beef & cheese (sharp provolone). While I love the modern day sandwich shops with crazy creative combinations, nothing beats a high quality yet simple sandwich like this. Fresh meat, roll, everything about it hit the spot. Added a bag of chips for $1 (sandwich was $15). My friend got the turkey special and loved it as well.

“It was my first time here, coming in after a walk through Fishtown/Port Richmond. The place is pretty chill, and while the crowd is not “diverse,” it's fine. I noticed that the staff was pretty quick with getting the food and drinks out. The hosts are laid back and had a “pop-up skee-ball tournament” on a Wednesday night. This place reminded me of a college town bar, and I would try it again. I had a mule and it was refreshing and pretty good.“
