“I never leave reviews but this one I had to do. We have been to Mochiland before and have always enjoyed the mochi donuts as much as the bubble teas. No complaints there! Today was my daughter's birthday and she asked if we could stop by and of course I said yes. The sweet girl behind the counter, Diana, took our order promptly and immediately saw my daughter's birthday girl badge. She asked her how old she was turning and proceeded to give her a warm Happy Birthday and a free donut! I mean it when I say this small act of kindness made sure the day ended on a perfect note. I could not thank her enough and I hope Mochiland knows what an excellent individual they have working for them. Be sure to try them out if you are ever in the area. Between the donuts and the kind people working there you are sure to win!“

“Ordered recently for my birthday two cookies online which were Chocolate Mallow Cupcake Cookie and the Pink Velvet Cake Cookie which were amazing and delicious. The order was ready when I arrived. The place does get a bit packed but the staff do a great job of crowd control. Oscar was amazing and handed my order and ask if I needed a bag which is great customer service. Highly recommend this place.“

“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. There is two other flavors in the box I have yet to try and I have a feeling they won't disappoint, but after having those two said flavors, it is without a doubt that I will definitely be coming back for more sometime soon in the near future. “Fun little spot! Very sweet desserts. Ashley is the best. My friend and I came in super close to closing time (our bad!) but Ashley was very nice to us and helped us get some good desserts. Pie is good (my friend really loved it, but was a little too sweet for me), the cornflake cookie is good. Most surprising was the peanut butter cookie! I don't usually like peanut butter cookies, but I did like this one. It was also a little less sweet. I'd come back to this location to try the soft serve or some of the other options.“

Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we finished it on one seating because everything was delicious. We ordered all the flavors, it was original cheese, original cheese with blueberry, chocolate, matcha, black sesame and ube. My favorite was UBE and ORIGINAL CHEESE WITH BLUEBERRY. The crust is perfect, its crunchy and not thick. The filling is silky and smooth, not heavy unlike other cheese tarts. Price rating: 6/10, it was not that bad for the price. All flavors are good! “Had the most AMAZING Poboy & conversation with the owner/cook of sweet tooth. The business has been on Garvey for 17 years and I think it’s because he stayed true to himself, pork free soulfood, chopped chicken barbecue sandwiches, Poboy and homemade iced teas and let’s not forget about the desserts which I didn’t get to get any because I’m on a sweet break but next time I pop in I’m definitely getting a sweet potato cheesecake. Now for my sandwich, I had four juicy shrimp on 1/2 and on the other two pieces of flounder garnish with a secret sauce and a slaw mix toasted to perfection. It was so delicious. Definitely popping back in to try more things on the item and if you’re like me, looking for a black owned businesses that hit the nail on the head definitely pop into sweet tooth.“
