“There are a couple of places in the city that do this AYCE Omakase style now, but I think Sushi Hayashi does it best! We've been twice and loved it both times. It is unlimited sake (Junmai or Nigori) and beer, and they are very generous with the pours.

After 14 courses (including some very interesting flavor combinations), you get two chances to order as many as you want of 4 types of fish. The other places I've been to only let you order once, and that creates a lot of pressure since you don't know how big the pieces will be (or how much rice will be included). While the unlimited pieces are plain and unadorned, unlike the 14-course, they are still very good quality fish and a great fish to rice ratio.

You finish off with some delicious matcha ice cream - some of the best we've had. The staff is very friendly and keeps a good energy throughout the meal, and you don't feel rushed at all either.

“My boyfriend and I LOVE this place and has been our go to lately. We mix between the fried flounder, whole red snapper and fried shrimp- so good! The fried yuca is top tier in my opinion. The yellow rice is pretty good as well. Not too expensive and you get a lot of food.“

“I have been to many family parties held at this restaurant. The basement party room is a great space that allows for a DJ and larger venue of 100 people. To tight for anymore people. Food is consistently good for a large batch catering party menu. Steaks are cooked to temperature and overall great food quality. Main area of improvement is just some esthetic updates. The space has not changed in over 30yrs. It's time to refresh and modernize. Overall good place, parking is really tough so beware.“

Some of my favorite foods there are their mozzarella sticks, their chicken wings, their cheese wonton, and so so much more. “I ordered from here because my regular Chinese restaurant was closed. I ordered the crab Rangoon, egg drop soup and young chow fried rice. Everything was so delicious ?. The crab Rangoon was crispy but not overcooked, the soup had a light flavor and the rice was perfect. The only disappointment was that they did not provide crispy noodles for the soup. There was lots of sauce and fortune cookies but I really would have preferred to have the noodles instead. I will order from here again but next time I guess that I’ll have to ask for noodles.“
