“Fantastic food and atmosphere in fortune buffet not to much food choices but there is couple of food choices you can get and very nice delicious food. You have to pay in advance when you come there which is fine by me. The only reason why i am getting 4 stars rating is they are giving you fork and spoon they don’t have knives over there and quite frankly it’s almost to impossible to cut the chicken or any other food with spoon“

The mofongo was tasty and the friendly lady put more than enough calda on there. Plate was packed with everything. Staff is friendly and patient. “I ordered some items directly from thier website, for our Christmas party, to be prepared the next day. I did not get any feedback from the website that the order was accepted, I was unfortunately a little skeptical. I arrived at the time that I entered in the "schedule my order" box of the checkout page, mentioned my name and they handed my order right to me. “I was lucky enough to find this family owned restaurant when my motorcycle broke down! They’re so kind and helped charge my phone so I could contact someone to help get me back home. The owners are some of the most friendly people I’ve ever met, they greated everyone with a smile and created a very welcoming atmosphere. It was great watching all the food being prepared and I was impressed at how fast they got orders out to the customers. I live 30 minutes away but I know I will be back soon, the food I ordered was delicious and I can’t wait to try more!“

“Drove by, and decided to drop in to the New China Chinese, so I gave it a try. It's a small restaurant with a very bare seating area...best for takeout or delivery. The decor needs an update, but it is ok. The staff was friendly, took my order--for takeout service--and it was done fairly quickly. I got the sesame chicken w/pork fried rice combo; got home and dug in. The portion sizes were generous, and the price were reasonable. While the food was good, not the best Chinese I've had...however better than most in this area...I'll be back to try some of their other options.“

My top-tier chums and I came here for lunch yesterday after The Pasta Shop had a 90-minute wait (which annoyed them/pretty much quashed any interest they had in trying to go back, and made me want to go even more - so it goes), and were rewarded with approximately a 30-second wait for a table here. Boy is there a lot to look at; I'm not going to risk using incorrect terminology in describing this building, but it's a lot. And as someone who has spent a bit of time at a time vortex Chinese place in Rockland County of late, apparently aquariums are a big part of the decor.If you're looking for information on Hunan's authentic Chinese dishes, you've come to the wrong place - we went so basic, we might as well have ordered this with a side of Uggs and a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I ordered my tried and true Sweet & Sour Chicken, one top-tier chum ordered the Sesame Chicken, and the other top-tier chum ordered General Tso's Chicken. The edgiest item we procured were the steamed pork dumplings app to share.Everything here was very solid. These are obviously items that we'd typically get from a hole-in-the-wall takeout establishment, so it was a nice change of pace to eat the chicken off of actual plates (maybe most people do that too with their takeout orders, but I'm a barbarian through and through). The two keys for me when it comes to sweet & sour chicken are ensuring the chicken isn't overly deep fried where you're eating more fried skin than meat, and that the sauce is on the thicker side. Hunan checked off both boxes here, and since it was served with some vegetables, etc., there was some extra flavoring at play as well. The dumplings were very good as well. I've become more of a soup dumpling adherent in recent years, but I liked the seasoning in the pork and was pleased we got something other than generic chicken with our meal.The service overall was above average. I thought it slowed down noticeably towards the end, though we weren't in a rush or anything. But we'd clearly stopped eating and didn't receive a visit from anyone to pack up the leftovers for about 20 minutes - not egregious, and there were tons of staffers all over the place and it would have been very easy to hail someone down if the urgent need arose. Beyond that, everyone we interacted with was pleasant and efficient.One of my chums noted a party room in the back and was openly pondering the possibility of returning in the near future and hosting a birthday in there. I wasn't QUITE as blown away by this place as she was, but I'd definitely come back. “I honestly fell in love with this Asian restaurant after a whole year moving into this area. I was really having a hard time on finding good Asian restaurants and all of them have awful reviews or disgusting discoveries. I'm happy to say this place given me hope and reminded me of an previous restaurant I went to all the time for quick eats or cheap options. I never had a problem coming here and it's always fresh whenever you come in for take out. I had no idea they had other options of Asian dishes until the bento box took me by surprise. It was so rich in flavor and tasted absolutely delicious. It's by far the best restaurant for the money and quality. You'll definitely change your mind when you order from here and expect amazing food. I'll always be back more!“

“Tried them on a whim as no one else around had really good food and found our new place. The food is delicious and fresh. Everything we try tastes amazing. There is just so much flavor in the cooking, I find myself actually eatung slower than usual cause I am literally savoring every bite. I have eaten the beef and broccoli 2x now and it is.my favorite. Most other places I have to add 4 packets of soy to get any flavor but I didnt have to add even 1 here. There is so much flavor, the sauce is not thick and corn starchy like a lot of other places and the broccoli is cooked perfectly, fresh and steamed with just the right amount of bite. Hubby gets a special request crab egg foo young and he is in love with it. Their rice is soft and flavorful and tastes fresh not days old like other places. But his favorite thing is the PuPu Platter. First time he has ever gotten shrimp toast that was not a greasy mess, he can actually taste the bread and shrimp and not a mouth full of oil. He is in love with the chicken wings and spring rolls. I love the fall off the bone ribs and the taste of the beef on a stick is tremendous. Their sweet and sour sauce is light and perfectly balanced, the moo shu pork was amazing, cooked perfectly with chunks of meat. Sesame chicken was crispy and sweet. We have only ordered about 6 times but we find ourselves craving it. Best part of all, their prices are so affordable and everyone is so accommodating to special requests. It's just a great place to.eat from, I don't have a mouth full of salt all night after and I truly feel satisfied when I am finished.“

“Ho Ho Kitchen is a staple of Chester, NJ. I'm beyond grateful that it's still active and flavorfully on point. I've been coming here since I was a kid, back when that fancy gym next door was a movie theater. If you're craving classic Chinese-American food, look no further. My best friend swears by their fried dumplings. My parents swear by the chicken and broccoli and vegetable lo mein. I personally crave more authentic Chinese flavors, so I'm an advocate of all the Szechuan and Mandarin dishes. Support your local mom and pop shops, guys. Panda Express cannot compete with this goodness.“

“The food here is great. I don't understand the low score. Maybe back in the day it was bad but we have had great experiences here since living in the area. I would say that this little hole in the wall spot makes the Best Chinese Takeout in Rockaway Boro and not that there are alot of other competitors in the field but to me it's not even close. They're fast too, I was in and outta there faster than a Nascar Pit Crew at Talladega Superspeedway and their prices won't have you up against the wall either. As I approached I saw the place I intended to go, and parked. Kept my head down and walked inside. To my surprise I looked up to see two people who were very much not Jamaican lol there was no customers in there and I felt like a deer in headlights and couldn’t turn around and walk out so i just blurted out that I would like some beef lomein. He rang me up and it was $14 and change and my immediate thought was “wtf” but whatever, (I used a card and there was no mention of a $15 limit) I decided to wait in the car for my food and as I did I looked at the reviews. Over and over I read people said the food was expensive, sucked, and the people were rude and stingy with sauces. I was not feeling very hopeful for my lunch at all. However, when I went back in to get my food, the man was more lively and very polite, even asked if I would like any sauce, which I thought was funny. I went back to my car and realized that I had a quart rather than a pint (I never specified) which was why it was so costly. When I opened the container I was pleasantly surprised that there was a lot of meat and veggies in there and it was super hot and fresh. The taste was on point too, probably one of the best beef lomeins I’ve had. Maybe they aren’t super friendly or bubbly, but they were fair, nice, and the food was great. Don’t let the other reviews scare you.“
