“Beautiful decor on the inside. Restaurant gets busy so make reservation just in case! Had dinner Monday night and Ashley was amazing. The sake warrior is like a limey summer refresher. Just with a little twist. Really good! Shrimp dumplings are so bomb, as well as the sesame chicken and glass noodle. Great service.“

“Great little location on the corner of Elm St. for this takeout place. Friendly service, quick orders to go. The food is absolutely made with hard work and lots of love. This was our first visit considering we came all the way from Union. It was definitely worth the 22min drive. We would definitely order from there in the future. “Tonight me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here. I got wonton soup because i wasn't that hungry and ended up eating the whole container. Hands down the BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had. I even called to compliment them, and i don’t think I’ve ever done that. It was that good. My fiancé also said he agrees it’s the best Chinese food he’s ever had.“

“Ordered for the first time since learning they moved & opened their doors in Morris Plains! They were our FAVORITE restaurant in Cedar Knolls! I’m SO happy to have them ‘back’ (a bit further of a drive, but so worth it!!) Everything was just as delicious as I remembered it being! We’ll be back SOON!!“

“Great food at a great price. Lo Miens were tasty. Not at all salty. General Chicken could have been spicer but I failed to request a stronger plate. Wonton soup excellent. Great dumplings and again not salty. And…get this…ordered French fries which had absolutely no grease and as tasty as McDonalds. Ya gotta get their fries ! Quick delivery. I will order from here again.“

“Exceptional takeout from Hunan Wok in Sparta! I ordered Beef with Broccoli, Chicken with Broccoli in spicy white sauce, and Singapore Curry Mei Fun. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Whenever I’m in town visiting family, this is my go-to Chinese restaurant. I’m from Georgia, and I truly wish we had a Hunan Wok back home. Highly recommend, nothing else compares.“

“New Horizon is always excellent. Food tastes great, portions are generous, and it's ready a little bit faster than you'd guess.
Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian and pescaterian choices for appetizers and entrees.

“Best Shrimp with String Beans I’ve had in a long time! The portions are generous, and the shrimp are actually large, not the tiny ones you find elsewhere. The sauce is savory with just a hint of sweetness and ginger . Perfect over a bowl of steamed white rice!!“

“I ordered food on 9.11.25 again after being disappointed with another Chinese takeout establishment. My food came to piping hot and my delivery was in a timely manner. The food was prepared fresh and I was extremely happy with the food and the service. We all as customers appreciate good quality with our food. I will continue to order from Hunan. “Felt like Chinese and love trying new things. I got the steamed chicken dumplings which were very tasty hot and fresh. Ordered some wonton soup very hot good flavor and a lot on wontons. Last ordered Chicken Triple Nut. Sliced white meat chicken sauteed with assorted Chinese vegetable in white sauce, topped with a mixture of walnuts, cashew nuts and peanuts. Was amazing. Service and delivery was fast as well. #yelpnewjersey“

“I was there today. Nov 11th, 2025. Omg this place is great. What A nice lunch we had. spareribs, Sesame chicken. And the rice that came with it was cooked perfect. Egg roll was yummy. I can't wait to go back. They are so friendly there. It was so hard for me to find a good place, but I will back for sure:) I have left over for dinner they gave me allot of food.“

This is a staple hometown Chinese takeout spot in Hopatcong. You will see hundreds of people walk through their doors daily. I used to work in the plaza and witnessed it myself
Yes, it’s not the most fancy interior. But the owners are amazing people who serve great food . Go to a michelin star restaurant and try asking for “Wor-Shu Duck” the waiter would look confused. Guess who has it ? Lucky House .. and it’s delicious!!
Even their simple dishes like chicken & broccoli, egg fu yung, etc… all are good. You get huge portions of delicious food for a cheap price.

“Best Chinese & Japanese I’ve had, from their green tea with toasted brown rice to their soups, their general Tso is always a good balance of spice to sweet, very accommodating with gluten allergy for my partner. They are always nice and we tend to catch going once a week at this point, very good every time“

“I just love going to Master Wok at Rockaway mall! It's a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes from my home, but let me tell you, the food is so good. My favorites are the Barbecue pork and the Chicken & Broccoli. They're simply delicious! You can get two meats with fried rice or lo mein for just $9.35. I've been a loyal customer of this Chinese food place since I was 16, and now that I'm 21, it's still my favorite place ever!“

“The portion size of each set meal is too large, but the taste is still online, selling well with both appearance and taste. Very delicious, excellent Chinese cuisine.The food is really amazing! Beautiful in appearance, enticing in aroma, every bite exudes sincerity. We must come again! “After reviewing some of the bad reviews I noticed that most of them are a year or older. I have eat in and take out at this location several times and the food is always tasty hot and fresh. The decor is beautiful and love the fireplace aroma. It's not very common to find an establishment this clean and neat. Definitely coming back love their lunch specials“

“We have visited the buffet quite often and the food and price were average for a Chinese buffet. My problem is that the buffet uses an open ice cream case. People leaning over the ice cream that others will be eating is a health hazard. Since Covid19 we all have been more diligent about health exposure. Other buffets have removed that form of dispensing ice cream. I'm sure the Health Dept would not be happy about this.“
