“One of the best dim sum restaurant in Central Jersey! Lunch time is highly recommended. On the weekend, they bring food on a cart and you can pick whatever you want to eat. Everything is so tasty and we love it! Price is very reasonable. You can also order from Entree menu, which is also delicious.
It gets very crowded on weekend lunch time, so recommend going as soon as they open at 11:30am.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“Kudos go out to the Marina Cafe for doing Thanksgiving up right! No wonder the restaurant was packed today. A wide variety of plates to choose from today, making it hard to decide. We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“

“We had lunch on Saturday afternoon. I would rate the food as pretty good, and better than Red Lobster which is right across Rt. 18. However the presentation of the food leaves a good deal to be desired. They serve on paper strays with plastic spoons. Paper would be fine if it was of a higher / thicker quality. The plastic utensils would also be fine if they weren’t of the kiddie party variety. The We had soft shelled crab, fried shrimp and catfish with boiled Cajun pototes and French fries. All of the food was good, neither over cooked not undercooked. The soft shell carb was pretty good. What was annoying was that the (soupy) boiled potato(s) side dish was served in a Saran Wrap baggie tied in a knot and put in the same paper tray with the fried soft shell crab. It was hard to tear it open without spilling the contents all over the table. However the side dish potatoes were good. The problem was the plating. The French fries were also good, neither overcooked nor undercooked and tender. While the food is good you and the restaurant is decently decorated, you get the impression that they have a very very tight budget for necessities as in utensils, plates and trays. Nevertheless we will eat there again or have their food delivered. They do not have a delivery service so you must use Uber or Doordash.“

Wow! Firstly, very lovely first impression walking in and being seated. I am a big fan of the robin-egg colored tableware and the Miniso Dundun chicken timers lol. The place felt very clean and fresh, upon arriving.

Food:
The broth was extremely rich and flavorful! Genuinely tasted like it was prepared for a long time (10 hours) just like they advertise! It tasted very savory and it pairs well with the chicken and the other sides! The fish maw white fungus, chinese yam, pumpkin, and hand pulled noodles were all very fresh and high quality. I personally loved how chewy the noodles were after cooking it!

Our order was 2 servings it felt like a reasonable price. Definitely satisfied with the portion size given that we felt pretty full afterwards.

We walked in and were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. Amazing menu, nothing bad at all (four of us all tried different items), the calimari is not overly crunch, the pork chops were thick and well cooked/cut, I had jumbo shrimp, but the word jumbo doesn't do the dish justice. Extremely well curated menu, sangria was to die for, and we had a pinapple/cinnimon dessert that was really good (light because the meal was so heavy). Don't have to dress up, a nice button down shirt and nice shorts/pants for men is just fine, but don't go like a slob, it's still a nice place. Lots of birthdays and celebrations going on, for us it was a saturday night dinner with old friends. Thank you Armory, the service and food were top notch!!!“

Another “ former “ old time patron sitting next to us was furious as his swordfish was maybe 1/4” thick. We both agreed never to visit Blue Water again. We both remembered when it was the best ! My spouse and I were customers when the place would be packed now 4 tables only at 6:30pm ( guessing others feel the same) and long gone is the special menu had lobster cakes, halibut, monk fish , red snapper etc. Sadly and honestly not even better than a pizza restaurant but 3x the price. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. “It would be easy to overlook this place. It’s buried way in the back of a strip mall. The interior ambience isn’t anything to brag about, either. Yet it is a true gem with amazing food at good prices and excellent service. My wife and I each ordered pizzas. She got the 12” Chicken Pesto and I ordered the 12” Meat Lover’s. Both came out promptly. It was amazing, the best pizza I’ve had in years. I can’t say too many good things about it. Everything was in perfect harmony, a symphony of umami and cheese. Meatballs, sausage, bacon. It had it all. Each bite a delight. My wife also loved her pizza. We stopped in on a Monday on the way up north for a show. There were a few tables occupied but I would imagine it probably gets busy on weekends. Even so, I would make a point of stopping in here again next time I’m passing through the area at dinner time.“
