“We went to Brunch arriving a little early but were greeted like friends .Service was outstanding a full team effort.There was 8 of us two children.The children ordered the chicken soup and after two big bowls wanted more .The rest of our group had the best fried Zucchini I have ever had.Burgers cooked perfectly and the eggs Benedict came out of the kitchen hot and very nice presentation.Most of all we were treated like family and shown respect and patience.Carrot cake shared by our table sent us home happy and planning for our next visit.“

“What an amazing, new favorite neighborhood cafe! A curious visit that turned into an 'addiction' :) Food is super fresh and very tasty, and by now my family have tried many menu items.Try their Veggie Heaven ( I have never seen my mom wolf down a full sandwich like this one, time and again), their avocado toast, the chopped salad, and the Waldorf salad (with or without the chicken!) -- just great!We've tried vanilla lattes, chai teas, peach iced teas, among others, and all got super high marks as well!Service is as good as it gets, pleasant and kind. We always feel so welcome, even when packed.On top, the place is like a melting pot of people from different backgrounds, walks of life, different languages -- the perfect atmosphere for all!“
“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!“

“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“WOW - found this hidden gem as I was craving soup on a snowy day only to realize this place is less than 5 min from me. My favorite soup is Italian wedding and happened to be the day it was being served! I ordered delivery of the soup and Cuban panini and instantly fell in love. I’m excited to see and try all the other soups because this is one of the (if not the best) Cuban panini (with pickles!) and Italian soup I’ve ever had. I look forward to going in person next time!“

I love the vibe from Longfellows Coffee! It has a new and modern vibe while giving a nostalgic 90’s feeling, which brings back nice memories for me. The coffee was excellent and the egg sandwich was delicious. The staff was very pleasant to interact with (I don’t know any names yet) and this is a place you can feel at home with. “My spouse and I stopped here randomly while making the drive from JFK back to Ithaca after a red eye flight, and we are so glad we did. We stumbled in just as they opened, but Chef Dave was so kind and welcoming, and he makes the *BEST* pastries and breads we have ever had—and I cannot put enough emphasis on "best" here—from any country we have ever been to. We took a chocolate-almond croissant and a blueberry turnover to go because we were too full for sweets after eating yummy frittatas for breakfast (the bread he uses for the toast is too good!), and even hours after getting them home, they were incredible: so flakey, moist, airy, the perfect amount of sweet, and bursting with flavor. We already can't wait to come back to try more of his creations. Seriously, do not sleep on this place if you are lucky enough to be in the area!“

I went with the stuffed calamari and the pasta with a salmon and shrimp white sauce. Wife had the eggplant appetizer special along with one of the pasta specials with red pesto. The bread for the table is fresh! As in they pop a small loaf into the oven and in 15 min you've got a loaf fresh from the oven! The menu is extensive with unique coffees like ferrero rocher (they give you a with an actual Ferrero rocher), dulce de leche, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Girl Scout cookies, rose and more. Ive ordered so many different coffees and the salted caramel cold brew is definitely my favorite!!! It is delicious, their coffee is always fresh and tasty. Their cake pops are kids favorites, with unique ones like s’mores that has mini crackers and marshmallows! I definitely recommend, it is delicious! I sampled a bite of a few dishes - pancakes and omelettes were up to my expectations. However, my actual order, the Wrangler skillet, was quite a disappointment. It was heavily loaded with bacon, but without a generous portion of potatoes as a starch (there were some, just not enough), the dish was quite salty even for my taste. So I don't think my skillet was prepared badly, just that the recipe needs to be rethought. If I come back here again, I'll try a different dish.“
