“Our first time today. We had a super lunch. Started out with the tea being fresh. Salsa and chips were tasty, not too spicy, shrimp tacos, perfectly balanced with a nice slaw and avacado. Pork asado extremely flavorful yet not too hot! Will definitely go back again!“

“The restaurants was a very nice experience in Carlsbad. The food was delicious, nicely portioned and served hot. The only reason for 4 stars for service was 3 of the staff came out of the back kitchen stuffing their mouths with food. While I have zero issue with staff eating I do believe they should do it out of sight of guests, or at least seated at a table and eating. Shoving something in your mouth while going to drop off a beverage or going to the hosted stand, is not what this diner wants to witness.

I am pleased to note, that the three staff members who did this, were not the staff that serviced our table.“

“The Pecos Valley poutine fries were pretty good. Could have had more gravy imo but still good. The jammin bacon and the big blue burgers were amazing; patties were cooked perfectly and all toppings complemented each other well. House made chips were excellent too.“

“Fantastic meal at Danny’s Place BBQ. The ribs and turkey were phenomenal, and it was great having a side salad that was actually fresh and well-made. The mashed potatoes with gravy alongside the dinner rolls rounded everything out perfectly. Service was excellent as well—the staff was super helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend!“

“Today May 13th food is always good in Carlsbad. Atmosphere was horrible the waitress was taking an order on the phone had her back to everything but she had an extensive order. Was taking a little bit of time. If you don't get it in then you can't get the money in. I had already told the waitress as I was waiting to decide what I was going to have for breakfast to go ahead and take the phone call. The drive-up got busy as well. But we were both being patient. The cook Rebecca yelled and said order up which is fine she should and then she said again I'm just a little while not very long at all my food's getting cold. The waitress I don't know her name sorry it wasn't Lisa so I don't know who it was of blonde lady. Very nice. Reported I'm on the phone with a with a order. Rebecca yelled well if you can't get it out then I suggest you get help! A customer should never hear that. Why didn't the cook come out and deliver the food and say that the waitress will check on you in just a moment. Instead of yelling. Or send out the dishwasher. To assist. Finally the dishwasher did come out and she helped with the drive up and Rebecca did come out and give the gentleman their food. It was not the end of the world but she was horrible then afterwards after the waitress had taken my order and I had sat down. The waitress went in the back and Rebecca was yelling at her again I could hear her yelling at her I never heard anything that's a waitress said the waitress never talked back to her that I could tell. And it doesn't matter at that point it was not a good morning. That was very disrespectful of your employees all of them and the people who are coming in to buy your food quote unquote the customers who pay your bills! And your employees paycheck. If it ever happens again I will not be back thank you very much the food was good“

“I'd never eaten here before, but my mom was in the mood for a burger (I'm ALWAYS in the mood for a burger). The menu was easy to read and understand. I can't believe they have Tostadas as a side! 👀
We ordered our food and drinks, one of them being the sampler, which comes w/ onion rings, fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and mozz sticks, and jalapeño poppers. The friendly gentleman who took our order came out to the car to tell us they were out of onion rings, but would sub w/whatever else we wanted. I opted for more mushrooms. 😋 The drinks are perfectly mixed, everything came exactly as ordered, and the food was delicious.
Will DEFINITELY be coming back for more.“

“Great burgers but they cant seem to get simple orders right anymore. Feels impossible to get anything extra added. I ask for extra veggies on the burger, instead get none. Ask for extra chile, pay for it, but never get it. Asked for ketchup, girl in drive through gives a dirty look and rudely attempts to had a giant fistfull of packets..literally grabbed as many as she could..20+ packets? I just needed a few.“
