“We finally got a chance to try the burgers here (via delivery) and they did not disappoint. I got the black bean burger and my husband had the green chile cheese burger and both were cooked perfectly and delicious! Added bonus are the fluffy on the inside but crispy on the outside perfectly salted fries. Yum! We will definitely order from here again and I think it took some creativity to come up with all of those menu items and names, well done!“

“The food was perfect. Nothing came out wrong which often happens at fast food restaurants. The manager was absolutely awesome. I appreciate their help. “My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time yesterday. He ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo plate. I was not hungry when I first arrived, but ended up eating some of his meal. Both of us agreed that it was the best sweet and sour chicken we had ever tasted. The sauce was perfectly sweetened. Not overly sweet as you tend to get most places. The chicken pieces were huge, hot, and freshly fried. The owners were as nice as they could be. Very friendly and welcoming. The prices were really great too. We will be back.“

“Seriously the best restaurant we have found in Albuquerque so far. I’m going to be dreaming about the green chile salsa forever now. The service was amazing and friendly. The food was amazing. The green chile burger was delicious. Brisket Burrito with the red and green sauce. 🫶 Get yourself to The Original Cocina Azul. Our only regret is we didn’t go the first night we arrived.“

“The waitstaff was great, as always. My fried chile strip appetizer was not that great. Cut too thin and over fried. My 5-Star Burger, which I order every time , was a disappointment. The tiny bacon pieces and cheese crumbles were stingy this time and basically just fell out onto the plate every time I picked up the burger. And, the rings of “fresh” onion were incredibly tough!“

“Great service. Really busy at lunch, but still took our order. Was still fast and even granted the request to add a couple more taco burgers to the order when paying at window! I’ve eaten inside here too, in the past, always friendly, good environment to publicly eat.
Bob’s burger has always remained consistent with all their locations and I have been eating foot long chili dogs as a small boy, being born and raised in Albuquerque, all my life. Keep up the great service! Thank you Bob!“

“Easy in and out service. Sometimes they can't get the order right off the bat. Have to get it corrected ofter when I get the food. Just listening to what we ask for and the people preparing it need to pay attention. Hardly got it right the first time.. other than that I enjoy the food and breakfast sandwiches!!“

“Atmosphere is cool, especially during the weekdays. Great customer service to be honest. Waiters are extremely welcoming and respectful. Food is great but the bacon on the burgers don’t hit. It’s always soggy like cereal that got left in milk for an hour.“

“Had a very enjoyable dinner there on a Friday night with my wife, son and his wife. No problem parking within a block and was seated right away for a 630 reservation. Restaurant was only about half full. For appetizers we split the tempura mushrooms which was one of the highlights of the night—very enjoyable. For entrees, we had the fish special, two ducks and the risotto. All were excellent with the fish probably being the best. The desert menu is not huge and we ended up wandering down the street for ice cream. Very enjoyable night out.“

“I love this place. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere pleasant and it is most usually full of customers. The waitresses stay busy and do not purposely ignore new customers, they are most likely bogged down with keeping customers happy with delivering orders, refills of coffee, tea or water and a panoply of other duties that they perform. They are not at fault. This restaurant has been in existence for 30 years, I knew it when Loyola, the founder opened it and I know that her daughter Sara is doing a fantastic job of continuing the service that Loyola started. I have zero complaints with this restaurant and certainly miss it when I am not in Albuquerque. Albuquerque is very lucky to have a restaurant of this quality.“

“As of today, best burger plate ever, meaning usually it’s one or the other at other places, but this place the burger AND the fried were delicious. From the bun, to the patty to the sauce, I will definitely be back! Customer service excellent. Our waitress was top. All of my family’s plates were delicious. So glad to find a great place to eat.“

“Very friendly staff who let me take my puppy in with open arms for his every other day lg hamburger patties. They handle the homeless population well, stern but compassionate and clean clean. Any order issues are immediately addressed and the manager is there and very helpful. It's my neighborhood spot
Parking: They may take a minute to prepare the food but it's fresh made to order and you can taste the quality in the meat. They are huge.“
