Service is exactly how you'd expect fine dining to be.For it being a fine dining place, the environment is very loud and as expected it is very expensive.However, the food all tasted delicious, the wine was very tasty and they didn't skimp out on portions nor pouring.The butterscotch/Carmel cake for dessert is TO DIE FOR.The lobster linguine is also amazing tasting!All in all, I enjoyed my visit and would go back sometime if down on the boardwalk again for a date night.(Italian food, menu is written in mostly Italian so be prepared to be asking a lot of questions or looking up what you're ordering)“

“Phenomenal experience, the food was really amazing and great portion sizes. We had the rib eye and the special which was swordfish. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavours were great, cocktails were creative and delicious, server was attentive but not over bearing. Atmosphere got pretty loud in there with a full house, but that's the only complaint!“

“This might be the best fully-vegan spot in town. It's one of those situations where a tiny, cozy restaurant will satisfy you better than one of the more prestigious, big-name restaurants. Plus the staff are so nice, humble, welcoming, and they always answer the phone for orders, unlike other places that never answer.Absolutely need to get the dragon fries when visiting. I don't know what is in that magic sauce but it is divine. One time I forgot to upgrade the wedges to dragon fries (they didn't ask that time!) and I was sad. It is so worth the extra charge.Wild Leek's donair is the best vegan donair I've come across, and I've tried all the other vegan options around. The coconut cream pie is also amazing.Most importantly, they are well-prepared and don't run out of vegan ingredients during Halifax Burger Week! After another restaurant disappointed me, we got burgers at Wild Leek instead, and they turned out to be the best ones. Delicious!“

“There is not a better place in Halifax for pizza. Period. Whenever out of town guests come to visit we take them to Salvatore’s for pizza. I took my brother, visiting from Mexico, for The Rodger…thinly sliced mushrooms and roasted garlic. “Definitely recommend checking out Cabin Coffee! The aesthetic inside is really unique and makes you feel like you're in a cozy cabin. I came early in the morning for the breakfast bun combo (sandwich and coffee for just under $9) The breakfast bun was really good - definitely made with more fresh ingredients than McDonald's or Tim's. Unfortunately didn't have time to sit inside, but would love to the next time I'm in Halifax because the inside is beautiful.“

“Saturday evening (Feb 18) we randomly decided to stop by Jinloong for supper. We don't eat out much these days, but we were feeling like a treat. :) My husband had a combo Special A. It was a huge portion and delicious. I want to mention that my husband always finishes his plate. However, this meal was not only delicious but filling too. He had enough for in dining and leftovers for a take away lunch on Monday ! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, with no meat or shrimp. Our waiter was so helpful to make a lovely fresh enormous bowl of noodles with extra veggies for me. It was wonderful and I went home with 3 days of leftovers!! YAY!! This was such a great meal for "penny pinches" like us haha I'd like to say our experience at Jinloong was 5 stars, but I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the lovely, helpful service we received from our waiter. He was a delight!! So kind, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant don't look any further than Jinloong. The homemade sauces are absolutely worth every penny. The portions are fantastic, and the service is GREAT! We'll be back soon. I've included a photo of all our leftovers. Secondly, I love eggs, I love sausages, I love breakfast food in general.This wrap has no eggs, no sausage but let me tell you, it was incredible. I don't even understand what's in this fella but oh god it is delicious. There's some sort of maple sauce in there and honestly? It might be crack. I just ate it this morning and I want it again. “11/10. Absolutely phenomenal experience. They are SO patient and SO experienced. Nothing is out of the question as they can make anything possible. Your booking includes set-up and tear down by the staff, HUGE win. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. And obviously the space is GORGEOUS; very little decorations are even needed in the romantic moody room. We did our ceremony on the roof and it was SO special. Food incredible. We did a standing cocktail dinner and we had more than enough and continue to received compliments over the menu. This is SUCH an awesome spot!“

“We didn't have any food, just cocktails downstairs at the hidden little gem, The Noble. It reminded me of an old cigar bar from the movies (without the cigars). A password is needed to enter the place, which makes it very secretive and elitist! Very unique experience for me and my party. The cocktails are absolutely delicious!
