“Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.“

There was a gentleman going around and making sure everyone was ok with food and drink that was a Plus. we had a great waiter I dont remember his name but tall dark hair and great at his job, he said he just came back. “I have to first comment on the bathrooms. absolutely beautiful!! cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a restaurant, well done!! your food is delicious and your staff is the best!! we were treated with such kindness today, you made my boy feel so special on his 6th birthday. we will definitely be back again soon.“

“A little disappointed in this place. There’s a guy across the street cursing out people while we ate outside. The staff asked me not to call the Police and are not willing to do anything. I posted a pic of the guy that will ruin your outdoor experience at this place.“

“This review is long overdue. We have been coming here for over 5 years. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and we regularly enjoy the curry. Great flavour with some heat but not overwhelming. Bringing family next week who are keen to try it!

“This was a great tucked away restaurant. The menu options were great I had a scallop pasta dish. The scallops were excellent and the pasta cooked well but the flavour wasn’t exceptional. I had to use salt and even then it was mediocre.
The waitress we had had a lot of difficulty with serving us. I’m not sure if it was a new role for her but something she didn’t do and it would have helped her was actually taking our order on paper. She did OK for taking our orders and just had one mistake out of the 5 of us for food orders. But at the end for doing our receipts she took at least 4-5 attempts to properly get who drank what with who ate what together. Not once did she write it down though so that was frustrating because then it would have been a non issue.

I would come back here and recommend it and maybe try another dish“

“My friends and I were in Halifax celebrating as we all live in different provinces. Paul Lambert played the first night there and Single Hill. They both were fantastic. We had such a good time and the food and service were awesome. Hats off to a great pub !!!“

“Loved the atmosphere in this pub! It reminded me of home (Newfoundland). I ordered the grilled chicken guacamole sandwich. It was delicious! Very juicy and flavourful. I also ordered two 20oz Blue Moon during happy hour. The price was fantastic for the food and beer!“

“The food and service were good. We were disappointed by the lack of local offerings for drinks. Halifax and Nova Scotia has an incredible microbrewery and cider culture. We would have been more willing to stay and drink had we had the option of local beer, cider, and spirits. This could have leaned into the history of the space more. If there are local who want the “regular” Canadian/American options, they could be available at the bar in the back.

It was a massive missed opportunity.“

“My friends and I visited from Toronto and were recommended this club. The line was a little long but well worth it. Drinks were cheap, tasted good, hit well but not too hard, and the servers were all great. Music was also really good, it was a good mix of genres while keeping the energy high. Already planning another trip back to Halifax with the rest of the boys, this spot will definitely be our go to here now.“

I wish I could remember her name because she deserves high praise - but she was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and not in the slightest pushy. We are from Ontario visiting friends otherwise this place would become our regular haunt!! But next time we are back this way, we WILL return!

“This is our local taproom. I just love this place. Great bunch of people...staff and patrons. A great place to relax and enjoy some good conversation. The beer is the best in Halifax if you're into craft beer. Always a great selection and the beers rotate frequently so you never get tired of drinking the same thing....unless of course you want to. They have some specialty snacks to enjoy with your favorites beer too. They do not serve food, but you're welcome to bring in whatever your heart desires, in to eat. Jesse's Pizza and CHKN CHOP are just steps away.A couple of my favorite beers are 12 Years to Zion, DOA and Flat Black Jesus. I'm sure you'll have your own favorites.“

“We had the fish cakes with cesar salad, and bangers and mashed (so good we shared), delicious and the presentations were amazing. Price was affordable. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Live music was very relaxing and entertaining. A young lady named Kayla Mason was singing and playing acoustic guitar. Beautiful voice.

“Come here if you are looking for a zero judgment kind of night. I almost only go on Thursday for karaoke but occasionally in the evening for a game of pool with friends. The people who sing karaoke range greatly from really good to really bad but it is all about the spirit. The food is not what I write home about also the beer on tap has not been very good in the past. Now I just buy bottled beer here and I am happy. It can get pretty packed on Thursday night when the students are in town but this is fun because they are still a good crowd and also love singing and dancing along with karaoke. As someone else said this is a Prime dive bar and I wouldn’t come with expectations other than to expect they serve beer and a great time relies on your attitude when you walk down the stairs.“

“This was our second time at Waterfront Warehouse. We dined there 6 years ago. It was lovely both times. The location is right on the waterfront, we sat outside and the ambiance is great! The servers are all fantastic and friendly. The food was as good this time as I remembered from years ago. They have a good beer selection and interesting cocktails. “There were 4 or 5 of us who ordered the potato skins, and not one person enjoyed them. Usually there is a bit of potato on the skins, nope. There is no mound of skins here just a flat little plate of very crispy skins off the potato and the cheese is stuck all over the paper they laid them on top of. I had no drinks, just potatoe skins and my order came to over $19. I did ask for extra sour cream because I do love a little extra with my skins but I didn't need it with this order. The servers were wonderful, great, very polite and hard working. Unfortunately Not impressed with the food, size of portion and above all the price.“

“We came here on a whim. The place looked like a typical bar you'd find on a long drive however it had a Nintendo section which was honestly cool. It was filled with locals who were generally very happy and talkative with the bartender and staff. I actually found this very enjoyable as if gave the place a very friendly and family like vibe. We definitely felt like we were a little out of place but we weren't treated terribly, we were greeted with kindness.She recommended good beverages and everything was brought at a timely manner.The food is greasy but good. The fries could have used more seasoning, when I brought it to the waitresses attention she let me know they do have a seasoning but they only put it on via request as some people dont like it. (I highly recomend asking for it.) but beyond that it was filling, it was tasty. I would definitely ask for more napkins in advance!I'd love to come back when they have a live band, it seems like it would be a fun place to be.“
