“Wow wow wow. The fragrance of the banga and Afang soup is just out of this world.Even my mom could tell that the banga soup was not made with canned banga. It smells sooo good and she could name all the ingredients in the soup just from the scent. The taste of the afang and banga so so awesome. Can't stop ordering more. “I have to say, when it comes to taste, quality, service, customer care, food standards, and safety, this is truly the best team. The staff here goes above and beyond—from greeting you warmly to preparing your order perfectly. To top it off, the employee who doesn't have name tag, and I don't know her name but she in particular, is incredibly friendly and delivers outstanding customer service with smiling face. I enjoy their Hot Chocolate every single day. Normally in many places hot chocolate is not that good and only its like sweet hot water..but here I really enjoy the taste and consistency. If you live in Sackville or nearby, I’d highly recommend visiting this place. Kudos to the employee with no name tag and rest of the evening team. Keep smiling. Thank you!”

“Restaurant was clean, atmosphere and staff were very inviting. There was pitchers of water with 4 glassed at each table. Both my partner and I ordered the same sides, butter chicken and saffron rice with pop. It was absolutely amazing.... so much so we ordered 2 extra sides of rice to take home with the remaining butter chicken. Highly recommend! We will be in again to try out some other items.”

“Oh my God — where do I even start! Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with the warmest smile and such elegant gestures. The ambiance is so unique and inviting.We went for breakfast and it was an absolute delight! The banana bread was heavenly — the aroma and taste were just perfect. We tried the Egg Benny and the Beef Naan Wrap, and both were incredibly delicious. To top it all off, he even offered us a gut health drink after the meal — such a thoughtful touch!

“My wife, daughter her husband and I dined here last evening.Immediately upon entering we were struck by the decor and lively buzz of the patrons.
The service ( thank you Alana) was the BEST we have recd to date, we even had a short visit from the chef ( Moira Murray)!
Our cocktails were expertly prepared by Lindsay and the chef put together a tasting menu ( 10+ dishes) for us!! Everything was SO delicious, each dish elegantly prepared with unique flavor profiles.
What also stood out is that you can clearly see how all employees work seamlessly together to provide an excellent dining experience.
We will be back and we’ll be telling our friends as they’re missing out on Halifax’s best restaurant.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. “I drop by this wee bakery cafe every time I go to the warehouse market - it's my sweet treat for loading up on veggies. Sometimes I have to wait cause they're often super busy, but it's ALWAYS worth it! Friendly staff remember my fave drink order (strawberry yuzu lemonade!!), and the fact that I always buy a madeleine for my mom :). A thoughtful, kind crew that produces the best in-house baked goods in Halifax! Esp love the almond and cinnamon rolls, basque cheesecake, and Mum's madeleine (ANY flavour). Give them some LOVE!”

“Johnnys is a classic. An old school diner that keeps it simple good food, good service, good price, fast and fresh. A lunch time go to for us at our office. I take our out of town guests all the time they love it and want to go back when they are back in town.”
