“I have to say, when it comes to taste, quality, service, customer care, food standards, and safety, this is truly the best team. The staff here goes above and beyond—from greeting you warmly to preparing your order perfectly. To top it off, the employee who doesn't have name tag, and I don't know her name but she in particular, is incredibly friendly and delivers outstanding customer service with smiling face. I enjoy their Hot Chocolate every single day. Normally in many places hot chocolate is not that good and only its like sweet hot water..but here I really enjoy the taste and consistency. If you live in Sackville or nearby, I’d highly recommend visiting this place. Kudos to the employee with no name tag and rest of the evening team. Keep smiling. Thank you!“

“I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted at the Mellow Mug last Friday night. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be a very welcoming space, from the decor to the seating. I think I was lucky to be attending an event after hours, when I believe their stock in baked goods to be low. As it was, I had difficulty narrowing my choice down past 3 items. I can just imagine the increased difficulty it would have been first thing in the morning with a full complement of goodies. The very friendly staff helped me to narrow my choice to one and if the cookie I ate was an example of the high quality of their baked goods, then I am grateful that I live half an hour away and not around the corner. The selection of drinks offered was also amazing and I look forward to visiting again during their regular hours.“

“Shout out to the friendly staff and helpful owner at this Tim’s! I placed a very large order for a meeting that was to be picked up at a peek time of day. My order changed a number of times and it wasn’t a problem at all. Went to pick up the order and the owner was there to greet me, everything ready to go . Even assisted me in taking items to the meeting location! Baked goods were delicious while coffee and tea were hot. All condiments provided making the process seamless for me. Most impressive, they provided a milk alternative . Will certainly be stoping at this location again!“

“I go to the drive thru on Young Street in Halifax at 4.30 am almost every morning. The girl who works the back shift is exceptional! She is always polite and welcoming every time. I look forward to our brief interaction . She is a very positive person and deserves a raise!

Parking: The area is patrolled by Military police and parking security. Their is a 15 minute time limit to be in the parking area. Violation will result in ticket and towing at owners expense“

“We had the pleasure to discover Lara Cafe during our vacation in Halifax with our 3 children. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable. You guys make my day and this location is my favourite Tim’s in the city which says a lot because we have so many. The timing is always fast, food orders are always accurate and made to standard. I find the service so nice and welcoming from speaker to window . Considering it’s on a busy street they always seem to be in a positive mood. “I go to this Tim Hortons on Cobequid road in Lower Sackville every morning for my original latte and I find the staff great, the service is exceptionally fast and the latte's are very tasty. Actually better lattes than other coffee shops in my opinion.“

“I'm going to be honest. It's McDonald's. It's hard to mess up. But my kids see the advertisements for Mario Kart or the Grinch and they literally get toys from multiple years ago. It's frustrating for them. And giving out toys that are just cardboard is ridiculous.“

“I stop by the Tim Hortons at Beaver Bank and Glendale fairly often, and I’ve noticed a real improvement lately. The staff are more upbeat, the service is faster, and overall it just feels more organized than it used to.

My coffee’s been fresh every time, and the food (usually a bagel or wrap for me) is made properly and served quickly, even when it’s busy. It used to be hit or miss, but lately they’ve been a lot more consistent.

There’s definitely been a positive change here, and it shows. It’s a solid spot now, and I’ll keep coming back.
