Location is humble and unassuming. Just one barista on staff, so be patient. He was kind and helpful.

We both had regular fare lattes which were excellent with great presentation. Flavor was great. Not a Starbucks so dont expect a bunch of different flavors or options. But for a well prepared coffee or latte, it is a great option in the city.“

“We stopped in on a weeknight after wandering around Halifax all day and were glad this place was still buzzing with a relaxed crowd. My husband got the sticky toffee pudding and I had a pot of tea, and honestly both were better than we expected for a casual cafe. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us even though it was getting close to closing time, which we really appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. We loved the cozy little atmosphere with the mismatched chairs and soft lighting, and we'll definitely stop by again next time we're in town.“

The staff are friendly and very energetic considering they are working early mornings and some even have a little conversation with you which makes starting the day great. “Stopped by for coffee with a few friends last Friday evening and the place had such a cozy vibe going on. We split a plate of churros with the house chocolate sauce and honestly I'm still thinking about it. The barista chatted with us about the espresso blend they use, which was a nice touch and didn't feel rushed at all. I stop by here daily to start my day with a drip dark roast (they have regular too) and its so damn good. They have an espresso machine, teas and make italian sodas.

The baked goods are also amazing and are not those ‘run of the mill carbs’ but bite into and taste the love & butter deliciousness. The oatcakes are ridiculously tasty and the chai cookies are like artwork; they also have wraps, snack protein balls (so good), macrons and yoghurt parfaits.

There is also a coffee card so after a 8-10 (?) coffees you get a free cup.

Area is quiet and across the cafe there are pods just in case you need to drink your coffee in peace.“
