This is where I’ll be telling you more about the space itself. Plants are literally all around. Fantastic. Cozy. Green.The panoramic windows warm my heart. It is quite bright here, and little artificial light makes the space evenly illuminated. And of course the warm-light vintage light bulbs — I will leave it for your imagination. Love it.The music definitely fills the room just enough as you expect it to. The quality of the speakers is fairly good. And the tunes supplement the mood somehow. (Alternative/Indie/R&B/Soul/…)The kitchen is right behind the bar — sometimes you can literally see the steam leaving the stove for a second — a lovely view. “I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.“
“It takes a great deal for me to write a long post, I had even sent an email and message on their Instagram. It's clear that they do not care about their customers, so here Iam writing my experience. Maybe this will get their attention. I discovered this cozy café this past weekend. I live in Bedford and have been searching for a great place to study. I really enjoy the atmosphere in this café, However I've had two incidents that have happened now with my order. Saturday I came in and had asked about the breakfast sandwich, I have a nightshade intolerance which I explained to the cashier. (no tomatoes, peppers, paprika, no spices. potatoes and eggplant are also in this category). She went back and checked the ingredients and made a sandwich that was suppose to be free of these things. I get the sandwich and have a couple bites and realize that the black bean paste that was on it did indeed have chili-spice. She was going to remake my order and give me a refund but the manager said one or the other. Which I feel unfair where the damage has already been done to my stomach. However, someone who has made mistakes myself in the past in the industry, I let it go. It's only an intolerance not life threatening, however it does cause me discomfort for a few days when I eat these things. A refund should have been made. I return Monday and ordered a defcafe almond milk latte, which within an hour later I realize that it was 100% NOT decafe. Caffeine does not sit well with me, it causes a great deal on my health. For some people this can literally have them go to the hospital. Some people have certain medications, and caffeine can literally cause major complications. Luckily for me this was not the case, however it ruined my night, I was unable to finish my evening activities, or continue to study for the quiz I had the next day. I also had to cut my grocery shopping short because I became faint and unwell. It's clear to me that the manager and staff do not take dietary restrictions seriously, this is unfortunate, as I have spent $50 on this establishment already and I will not be back. Dietary restrictions are something to be taken seriously and this place does not! So if you are someone with allergies, do not go here.“
“This restaurant produces good sushi, however, portions could be a little larger. Incredibly disappointed with the tuna Tataki, I should have checked the take out prior to leaving. It was very small for the $ and had this strange incredibly hot seasoning exteriolly instead if the traditional crunchy coating. It was actually inedible. The reader needs to know this was the first item I have been displeased with.“
“Absolutely hands down one of the best, if not the best Starbucks I have ever been to from all over the world. The staff are kind and conscientious and funny. They truly love their jobs and it shows through the little jokes and cute little offerings that they're constantly making efforts with one of the baristas. Kevin is absolutely the best in the business, kind and sweet and always good at what he's doing. The drinks are always made better than anywhere else perfect on the orders, no matter how complicated, always able to take detailed instructions very well with a giant smile. My mornings are always made better by them. There's another female employee who works there who has the biggest smile and the kindest heart and I will remember her name. If ever you need a quick pick me up, don't go to the Tim Hortons across the street. Take the time to go to this Starbucks“

More room to breathe when it's packed.Overall, it's a decent spot. Tasty coffee and a small selection of baked goods. Sometimes difficult to find seating out of the five times I've been there, I was able to get a seat twice. Not my favorite cafe but not too bad either.“

“The coffee, treats, and other drinks they serve are really good at a competitive price. It's a nice little Cafe with indoor and out door seating. The staff is a hit and miss. Some of the baristas are super nice, others look miserable. When you're performing a service like that you have to sometimes put on a fake smile. I work retail so I get it.“

“Canadians love Tim Hortons - there's no denying it! So it always strikes me as weird when one closes. It seems it doesn't take long for another to open to fill the void. This location is great for a bunch of reasons - good parking lot, large space, outdoor seating area, conveniently located next to other services. The downside? The entrances/exits to the parking lot. It's a busy road and the entrance/exits are a bit too small to accommodate three cars (as they allegedly do). Still, I can't blame Tim's for that.“
