My husband had the Bison and I had the filet mignon and king crab, everything was cooked at absolute perfection. I would recommend this place a million times over to everyone I know.”

Me and my husband stopped by after running errands and im sooooo glad we did.
✨️Must try appetizers: baked mussels, crab balls, Donald Duck , Mickey Mouse, miso soup, edamame & the tempura calamari. I ordered some of the rolls others reviewed about on here and they also know flavor. TIGER ROLL, FIREWORK , STREET FIGHTER, SMOKED SALMON & YELLOWTAIL NIGIRI. (Ask about the salmon skin wrap. I dont remember the name but if your a salmon fan try it) Full roll are 10 pieces , keep in mind.

The lightness but richness blend of flavors explode in your mouth. My husband ordered the huckleberry ice cream and became my new favorite flavor. Im more of a green tea girl but if you want something a little more sweet and light give it a try. I had the strawberry mochi , never dissapointing(:

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It was my first time here and we did not know what to expect, but it was above and beyond! First of all, the owner/operator, Dolly, is truly amazing. She might be the most hospitable and humble person I have met in a long time. You can tell she truly cares about the food, her employees, and most of all the customer’s satisfaction. The space is very clean with plenty of open light. It would be a good spot for an intimate date, or to host a larger party. Also, we must give it up for the chef! I am amazed with how many distinct dishes came out of the kitchen in such little time. Each dish was unmistakable discernible. We will definitely be back and we hope this place stays open forever!”

“Well, I stumbled upon this place because of Google maps, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I liked that I could have all you can eat sushi, and my mom, who doesn't like sushi, could have Chinese food. I, of course, started off with 5 mussles followed by some nigiri; 6 upside down shrimp, 2 octopus, 2 white tail, 2 salmon, 2 crab, 28 seared eel, and a 1 hand roll followed by a specialty spicy roll made by the chef. It was all very, very good. My mom had fried rice, chicken chow mien, and orange chicken. It all looked so tasty, and she said it was very delicious. All in all, it was a great experience.”

So if you are looking for a venue keep them in mind.The Prime Rib was outstanding. Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. They made us all feel so welcome and almost like we were family. We all are still raving about the Prime Rib.There is something so wonderful about a place treating you like family. The human connection is something we all want. It is so awesome to feel appreciated and connected to our world and others. The staff here were outstanding. Everyone commented on the service we received.The appetizers and salads were tasty. The family members who had the salmon said it was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Portions are generous.All of us remarked on how good the food was. Not to mention, the price was right.The ambiance might be a little lacking. There are no tablecloths. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost.So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal?However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you.Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. “I am visiting Carson City on business and was craving some Italian food. Decided to come in to Garibaldi's. Traveling solo I decided to sit at the bar for dinner had some wine, a house salad with some really good ranch dressing and the capellini siciliana. Everything was delicious. The owner and his daughter made me feel welcome and the owner sat down ti chat for awhile. I normally am not a fan of small talk, but it didn't feel like small talk and felt like a genuine conversation. Saw some reviews about service being rude, not sure why they felt that way because my interaction with them and observing them with all patrons felt warm, welcomed and genuine. I will definitely come back here every time I come back here for work. Thanks for the great food and conversation!”

“This is my families favorite ice cream place in Carson. The ice cream is handmade & beyond tasty! The tostiesquites is really good also. I almost always get the strawberries & cream; it's delish! The owner is so nice & extemely helpful. Unfortunately a couple of the younger men that work there while the owner is gone, aren't as friendly. So we try to avoid going when the owner is gone. Because of this, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.”

“This is our new favorite coffee house!! The ambiance is unique. You could sit in Comma Coffee and not see everything hanging from the walls and the ceiling in an hour. My favorite is the piano playing skeleton. A delicious chocolate raspberry muffin. So moist! Wonderful custom coffees! The best service!! There is also a lovely outdoor dining area. Comma Coffee is the place to go in the Carson Valley!”

“I went to the Cracker Box for the 1st time always wanted to go. I have to say a nice little hole in the wall joint. It is a very small place and you are sitting right on top of people I am sure when it is crowded probably to much for me. The service was excellent on top of their game and very friendly. The food was ok I got the Chilli burger I probably wouldn't get that again. It isn't a place I would go to all the time because I don't like to feel crowded but I would go again and maybe try the breakfast I heard that is good. Go there about an hour before they close and you will be good if you don't like crowds. 1 last thing make sure u bring money it is cash only but they do have an ATM that was cool. I will give it 2 thumbs up 👍 👍”

“Betsy's Big Kitchen is where I go when I want fish and chips. They have the best in Carson City. The rest of the menu is good food also. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff good at what they do.

“I come in frequently and everytime I order oysters they are tiny , they used to be good size or large ,not even an extra to make up for the loss or a discount for something not worth paying for. The seafood soup is good but the fake crab is horrible better to remove it or change type of crab for a better one .I'll give it a try soon to see if anything changes and hopefully the micheladas are better too ,just beer and clamato won't do in my opinion”

“We were introduced to this restaurant last year by our dear friend and neighbor. We were living in TX at the time. FF to now. We moved to Carson March 1st. This has been our go to Mexican Restaurant for over 7 months now. We have tried several, but still come back here. The food is outstanding. The owner is really sweet. Best waiter around is Bobby. Request him any day but Wednesday!! He will take care of you. All the waitstaff have been amazing. Food is always hot fresh and made to order. Actually going there today for lunch as it's been a few since our last visit. Will post pics on my next review!! The #27 is our go to. 4 enchiladas. We will get 2 with the ground sirloin and 2 with cheese with rice, refried beans and albondigas soup. We share for lunch and have enough to eat for dinner. 5 stars across the board”

We had a very rude waitress and the food was a very poor quality and not as it was ordered. Carson is really growing, but you need to keep your quality up or you will not get return customers. It will be a long time, if ever, that we visit again.”

“China Jade Horse has been here for 20 YEARS! I came here maybe 15 years ago and didn't go back, cause I found other fave places in Carson. But now I decided to go back after seeing on the menu some dishes no one else offers in Carson. If you stay in business 20 years, you gotta be doing something right!

The Szechuan spicy Eggplant with minced pork served in a sizzling claypot was insanely off the charts good. It's $17.98 but worth it. This is one of the super authentic Chinese dishes they have. Prices are sort of expensive compared to some Chinese joints in town, but the food is above the rest here. Also had the Shrimp with scrambled eggs, not you usual American Chinese dish, but wow, was this good, I never had eggs taste so good before!

Service is polite and no communication probs at all.”

“I go to this location a lot. They are very good but every now and then we get a waitress that we wait to get help from. The food is great. I’d go before 3pm to get from the lunch menu. It’s much cheaper with a smaller amount. You still get salad and breadsticks. I highly recommend the Zeppolis for dessert. Zeppoli are warm, made-to-order Italian donuts dusted with baker's sugar and served with a choice of chocolate or raspberry dipping sauce. They are amazing!

I heard about this place so I had to drive from Southlake Tahoe to come check it out definitely worth it. I had the fish tacos. Also ask for their hot sauce which is really amazing. It has a perfect hint of heat and sweet.”

“The manager is absolutely wonderful. We ordered delivery and only ended up receiving half of our food, we drove up there, and the manager not only remade the entire order, but also was working to refund the delivery charge. He went completely above and beyond for us and I've never had such an amazing experience with having an issue anywhere else.

The food is always delicious and now I also know for a fact that if anything is wrong, they'll go the extra mile to fix it.”

“Went to Bully’s for lunch today. The place was jumping, want to share our how awesome our server was! He greeted us with a smile and was so efficient, so many tables he was maintaining and not a single mistake or forgotten item. You are sweet and hospitable! “A sanctuary of savory delights

Food: I don’t know if I got lucky, but the food was amazing! I had orange chicken and sesame chicken and both paired with each other very well! Furthermore the food was caramelized very nicely! Also getting a Coke set everything up nicely.

Service: The workers were polite and worked very hard. We came near closing, but they still made fresh food. The worst thing to hear is “sorry we are out of _____ and there is nothing to be done.” These workers went above and beyond!

Atmosphere: Plenty of seating, clean and smelled neutral. The only issue is that it was a little cold.”
