“We went here at 1:00 on a Tuesday for lunch. It was not busy at all. Maybe 3 other tables were occupied. The server was very attentive. You have a good view of the Wynn and the encore. The food was great. I got the grilled salmon salad and it was the best salmon I have ever eaten. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the mango salad and dressing went so well with it. My wife got the tenderloin Cobb salad which was also very good but not as good as the salmon. The restaurant entrance is outside the food court at the mall. There are signs for the capital grille that lead you to the food court. But then you have to take the door by Popeyes and go outside and around the corner.“

I started with the Caesar salad and the maple-glazed bacon appetizer—both incredible. The Caesar was crisp and perfectly balanced, while the bacon was thick-cut, smoky, and sweet with just the right amount of richness to get the evening started right. For entrées, I ordered both the Australian Wagyu Flat Iron and the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and let me just say—wow. The Australian Wagyu was deeply flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. But the A5? Next level. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection with layers of buttery umami that left a lasting impression. What made the experience truly unforgettable was the service. Kristen, my server, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and warm. She elevated the entire evening with her grace and professionalism. “This was the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to we were seated in this amazing atmosphere with everything from swords shields and medieval suits of armor, They also had this live violinists playing everything from Lady Gaga to Allanis morrisette and he’s was really good, we were quickly given their toast with bacon jam which was incredible then we decided to order the Alabama chicken and the bone marrow the chicken was fall off the bone tender and tasted amazing the bone marrow and toast was delicious it had an impeccable fatty flavor after that we ordered the 50 oz dry aged porterhouse with Mac and cheese mashed potatoes and cream spinach as our sides the steak was a perfect medium and the truffle butter on top was fantastic, the mashed potatoes were delicious and had a hint of garlic, the Mac and cheese was super flavorful and the top was crispy, the cream spinach was cream spinach, then we ordered the chocolate lava cake, I’ve had a lot of chocolate lava cakes before but this one was special the molten interior was just wow, it was also my birthday so they brought out a sparkler and they actually let me wear a knights helmet and hold a sword for a little bit to take pictures which was really cool they also brought out a special kind of mini raspberry macaroon and cake for free which also tasted great, and that’s about it, I never really take this much time to write out a review for a restaurant but this one made my birthday special and i hope more people will see this and go expirience it for themselves.“

“A few times a year, we plan a staycation that includes a dinner date night. My BF works on the Strip, so we like to check out local restaurants, and I love a good steak; he's more into wine. :)

Since we were staying in a suite at Palms Place and I saw the photos of the wine cellar, I knew we needed to check out Scotch 80. Before entering the restaurant, we noticed the sophisticated atmosphere; even on a Monday, there were many patrons, and the bar looked beautiful. The manager, Fernando, walked us to our table; he was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and made some excellent suggestions. Daniel, our server, was helpful but not overly attentive. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was excellent and served with grace and elegance. The ribeye cap and filet mignon were both excellent.

If you are looking for the perfect spot for a special dinner, drinks, or birthday celebration, I highly recommend Scotch 80 Prime; you won't be disappointed, and whoever you're trying to impress will be delighted.

The special in the menu was also delicious(chicken parm) even though I only had a bite. Miguel, our server was very great and helpful, served with class and so on point I didn't have to get attentions the timing of him checking on us was on point and made me feel special! “We have been coming here for over 10 years always a great experience. I do have to say we haven't been to this restaurant for a minute....like 3 years. However, in our recent dining experience there last weekend it was great. I ordered the Bavarian pork chop, it was divine....melt in your mouth delicious, the drink i ordered was delicious, however, the lemonade my husband ordered needs work. Our waiter was supper friendly and attentive....even though the wait was long, it didn't matter because we went to gamble and they called us when our table was ready. It was a very busy Friday night, but it didn't feel that way...great service! Delicious food, definitely a good to restaurant for me.“

“This was our second visit to The Angry Butcher; our first visit for having a complete meal. The appetizers were again very good (crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. The Caesar Salad was somewhat wilted and not good at all the next day and was discarded. I ordered the prime rib. It was served lukewarm and was therefore not as flavorful as it should have been. I added garlic and coarse black pepper the next day and it was then very good. My husband ordered a filet which was cooked to order. He didn't feel like its quality measured up to our favorite steakhouse on The Strip. That may not be a fair comparison but this establishment wasn't much cheaper. My martini was excellent and our service was very good. In the future, we may stick with cocktails and appetizers.“

I did crab Oscar style which was great(but a very small amount for $39), and loved the whipped potatoes. They did give a complimentary appetizer of duck fat fries. Including the menus as when we looked ahead of time, there was an option for two lobster tails and now it is only 1/2 for the same price.“

“First time visit as B&T was recommended by a friend. Really good overall experience and great food. The different steak cuts wasn't expected but it was cool to see. They have Wagyu so very good flavor and marbling. We paired the steaks with Mac n Cheese, Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms. All were really good. Unfortunately, when we visited I was told they were going through a minor menu change and a few of the drinks were unavailable. I would highly recommend Butcher & Thief for the food, drinks, flavor, variety and a really good experience.“
