“Beautiful setting and ambiance. Service was kind and attentive. Dishes came out in standard time and presented well. All dishes were very tasty. Chicken curry was a must have. Ordered the sizzling sigsig, but it wasn't sizzling, egg remained kinda raw but still ate it as that i do not have a problem eating them like that but it should have been sizzling. I would have gave a 5 for that. Cappuccino was very watered down. Hope this was a 2nd customer of the day fluke.“

“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

“Kim at Fig Tree Catering made my wedding absolutely spectacular! We had a plated multi course farm to table dinner inspired by local seafood. We love great food and it was the highlight of our wedding event. We had an intimate and beautiful dinner that was the best meal we have ever eaten. Everyone was talking about how great the food was for weeks to come. Thank you Kim for making our Wedding so special and flawless!“

“Men Wielding Fire has the best bbq! You can get brisket, pulled pork, chicken, tri-tip, ribs, and all the fixings to go with it. My favorite and my family‘s favorite is the pulled pork. Jack has been a part of the Reno Tahoe community serving his barbecue as long as i can remember. The food is always excellent! I’ve used them for private events and the food is always a crowd pleaser. It’s great going to community events and knowing they will have their food trucks. They are able to feed large corporate events, weddings, private events, and they give to the community. Jack and his staff are always so friendly and professional. Men Wielding Fire is definitely on fire and should not be missed!“

“A favorite breakfast/brunch for us. Found it accidentally and have been back often. Love their crepes, the farmhouse is fantastic as is the lemon with powdered sugar and don’t forget the the French press coffee. I am making myself hungry so guess I will head over tomorrow for breakfast.“

“The best place to stay in Reno. Gaming is good, rooms are freshly refurbished. Stayed 3 nights and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We have stayed in many places in Reno, but have called the Peppermill our only place to stay now. Take advantage of their Player's Club as the rewards are generous. Will be back soon!“
