They told me to stay in my vehicle and they would bring me my order. They fixed their mistake and everyone moved on happy.“

“We did some research to find a great taco truck while visiting in Reno and Tacos Pillulles absolutely was it. It’s in the parking lot of a Home Depot and during the day, surely gets a lot of business. (We went for dinner and were able to get seats at the tables they had set up.) We ordered a bunch of tacos al pastor (marinated pork), cabeza (beef head), carnitas (shredded pork), and carne asada. Each one was DELICIOUS and had distinct flavors from the others. The three salsas that came with the tacos were distinct and flavorful and mildly to moderately spicy (but nothing to set your tongue on fire). The carnitas tacos also came with a delicious consommé. Bonus points for having a wide variety of Jarritos and Mexican Coca Cola (i.e., in glass bottles). And the service was quick, incredibly friendly, and pleasant. I would 100% recommend Tacos Pillulles to anyone looking for good street tacos and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Reno.

(And for those who are curious, I asked about the meaning of Pillulles. The woman who was working didn’t know, but said it was the nickname of the owner. He’s been called Pillulles since he was a little kid.)“

“My husband and I stopped into Los 4 Vientos for a delicious authentic Mexican dinner last night. We’ve ordered takeout here many times but decided to make a date out of it this time before having a drink at The Alibi next door and walked about Reno Public Market.

I ordered quesabirria tacos with a side of rice and beans. They were cooked to crispy perfection with plenty of meat and oozy cheese. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas rojas with the freshest and tastiest sauce! (I couldn’t help but steal a few bites.) The chips and wide variety of salsas are free.

Above and beyond was the service. The man who took our order (I’m assuming the owner) was a genuinely kind man. It was apparent when a little boy came in and scurried up to the counter just to say “hello,” and he would pause working and say, “Hiiii, papito!” with a huge smile. Even the littlest customers know and love him. The woman who served our food was so attentive and friendly as well (we handed her an extra tip).

If you want authentic and super flavorful Mexican food, give this place a try!!“

“The menudo here is bomb! I never thought I was going to get handmade tortillas but boy I got a surprise. This places is definitely a jewel in town if your looking for a good menudo, this place is definitely a must go, they are also way different than others this place will ask you if you’ll like pata or not. Not like in other places they just won’t even ask you nor add it. Definitely recommend them definitely will be coming to try other foods from their menu.

Parking: They have parking in front of the store but they also have lots more in front of them.“

“The food was flavorful and the service was great. They have a small dining room on one side and a bar on the other. I think they probably do a lot of takeout. We dined in and ordered Huevos Rancheros and the Chicken Enchilada plate. Many places use bland or unseasoned chicken with an enchilada sauce; here the chicken was slightly red/pink from all the seasoning, which tasted different from the sauce on top of the enchiladas. It was a delicious combination. They have several choices for sauce, I chose the red and it was again, delicious, and very slightly sweet from the tomatoes. I will definitely go here again, for dine in or for takeout. I highly recommend this place. This is a small restaurant in a strip mall, so this is not a fine dining experience, but it is exceptionally tasty food.“

“Very disappointed to get our bill at Happy Hour!! regular pitcher price is 15.00..we ordered 2 Skinny Margarita pitchers..the bill was 56.00!!!! and not included on Happy Hour pricing. We would have adjusted our order had we been told, hey it isn't a happy hour drink. Spoke to the mgr. and it was due to squeezing fresh limes. We did not have top shelf stuff at All. nice dinner, just ruined our time with the price of our drinks, which we made sure was ordered before happy hour ended..needless to say, won't return. “I had a Raspado de coco it was exactly what I expected. So creamy and with pieces of real coconut! We also had a mangoniada- frozen sweet and spicy mango slush with mango pieces inside. This was good but we had to wait until it thawed out. We expected another drink and it’s called Chamoyada here. The fruit box was also filled with assorted fruits and all fresh and delicious. Customer service was great! We did have to wait for about 15 min because there was only 1 person working. Place was clean. Will come back.“
