“I used to only like the Chicago stuffed pizza from Papa Murphy's. But my latest buy was 3 separate pizzas, and none of them were Chicago stuffed.
They were all my own creations, except for one, which was half-and-half of 2 different menu, pizzas, I've got to say they did a fantastic job. Because I enjoyed all of them and so did my family and that's hard to accomplish. I will definitely be ordering again and regularly. Now that I know that there are absolutely multiple items. My family enjoys as well as twelve dollar large pizza tuesdays. There was no skimping on toppings and the employees were kind. The store was clean. Ordering was easy it's all around win.“

The minute I walked in which was close at closing time (9:45pm PT) understanding the staff (2) was already ready to leave home after a long day shift , they still treated me with immense respect and kindness . “Rick’s is the GOAT - one of the few places in Reno I feel is like a home away from home.

I’ve known the staff for years and they’re all amazing. The pizza is fantastic, plenty of beer options, and just a great place to go and grab some food or knock out some work over a brew.

“Pub n sub has been a Reno/UNR tradition for 50+ years. Every UNR student knows it as a place to get pizza, sandwiches and other bar food. They have a great patio out front and a nice area in the back for those crowded nights. The Bacon Cheeseburger was outstanding, the sandwich my wife ordered was good and the salad our friend had looked tasty. Not living in the area has limited my visits to several years apart but they still do a great job. The atmosphere is college bar/restaurant and they should never change it.“

“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

“Came through in the clutch! We ordered delivery late because my wife was ready to eat the bar. They contacted me quickly to let me know their driver had left. We were only 4 minutes away and they agreed to me picking it up after hours. The manager greeted me, handed me the order and then ensured we had everything we needed. The pizza and cheese bread were on point, delicious. Pizza sauce was flavorful, overall flavor was great. I really appreciate them letting me pickup late. They even refunded my delivery fee and tip even after I told them they could keep it.“

“I purchased 2 slices of hawaiian pizza at Winco just now and the crust had no soft crust the dough was very hard to bite. Also no flavor on the red sauce. And this is my fist time I had bought pizza cuz I was craving for some but I did regret buying it no flavor at all every bite I took it was like eating a single tortilla with unflavored sauce in it. 😭😞I won’t buy their pizza anymore at Winco my taste bud is bitter very sour.. they need a softer crust and improve the sauce.i can relate when we buy it cuz we crave it but in reality we don’t know what type of quality we are buying.“

“The store is always clean and I have always been greeted by a cashier. I placed a phone order and it was quick and accurate. The regular crust pizza was just okay. I did like the thin crust better. The Gourmet Vegetarian is really good but the white sauce has too much garlic for my taste so I order it with a standard red sauce. If you have coupons then this is a pretty good value. There is better pizza out there but you will have to pay much more for it.“

“I don't eat pizza very often, but sometimes I like to have one. That said, I decided to call and have one delivered as I had recieved and add in the mail. I have not ordered from then before. I decided to have an offer of two med, that way we could have two different pizzas. They said it would be at least 45 min. for delivery - ok. Before 30 min. I recieved a text that it was out for delivery; (I'm not far away). Sure enough, within minutes there was a knock at my door. The pizzas were fresh, hot, and plenty of toppings. These pizzas (we shared) were the BEST i've had for a long, long time. The saugage was like med. meatballs, mushrooms were sliced not diced, peppers bite-size, good stringing cheese, sauce all the way to the edges, and a great crust! (I like pizzas with lots of food on them and this had all of that. I'm sure if you are a boring cheese lover only, it would also be delightful.
I will order from them again the next time I'm hungery for a great pizza.“

“We did some research to find a great taco truck while visiting in Reno and Tacos Pillulles absolutely was it. It’s in the parking lot of a Home Depot and during the day, surely gets a lot of business. (We went for dinner and were able to get seats at the tables they had set up.) We ordered a bunch of tacos al pastor (marinated pork), cabeza (beef head), carnitas (shredded pork), and carne asada. Each one was DELICIOUS and had distinct flavors from the others. The three salsas that came with the tacos were distinct and flavorful and mildly to moderately spicy (but nothing to set your tongue on fire). The carnitas tacos also came with a delicious consommé. Bonus points for having a wide variety of Jarritos and Mexican Coca Cola (i.e., in glass bottles). And the service was quick, incredibly friendly, and pleasant. I would 100% recommend Tacos Pillulles to anyone looking for good street tacos and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Reno.

(And for those who are curious, I asked about the meaning of Pillulles. The woman who was working didn’t know, but said it was the nickname of the owner. He’s been called Pillulles since he was a little kid.)“
