“My husband is a breakfast connoisseur and said this is the best breakfast he has had ANYWHERE! The Rocky Mountain Benedict’s was delicious and the Cherry Amaretto pancakes were to die for!! The home is gorgeous and SAM was the best server, hostess all around amazing l person ever! This is a must go and eat when in Albany! 5+++++ stars!“

“Instead of recommending the restaurant or not I wish I could rate it with stars. I would give a 3.75 the food was the good. The service was good. The atmosphere was good. Nothing was stand out amazing. For the price I would think the entrees would come with a salad or bread for the table but they do not. Drinks of course were expensive as anywhere but I got the smallest pour of wine I’ve probably ever received. We went for a special occasion and I wish we would have went somewhere else. Maybe I’ll try again with friends again for lunch and hope for a better experience.“

“This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Telkwa and Smithers. I probably spend far too much money then I should here, but I absolutely love it. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is great, and don't even get me started on the coffee and the food. I don't know if I've had anything that I didn't like from here. I've tried pretty much everything from the pies, meat pies, the freshly made sourdough bread that is just delicious, and the burgers on Fridays. You also have things like the cookies, the brownies and so much more. On top of all of that there's even a lot that I have yet to try, the ice cream being one of them. She even went on vacation for a couple of weeks and that was probably the longest couple of weeks without a good coffee. Oh yeah and I almost forgot, the breakfast wraps are absolutely delicious. You got to try them. Try anything try everything try it all, I'm sure you'll love it.“

“My son and his family were visiting from Alaska. I wanted to find a nice place for brunch that wasn't a diner and I'm glad that I chose this restaurant. It was very clean and well designed. Food choices were plentiful. The waitress was excellent. I only had a few concerns and I had ordered this ham and cheese appetizer and it basically was just cooked bread. with minimal ham and cheese on the top. A bit disappointing. Also, that was served lukewarm. I had eggs, Benedict and that was delicious, but also did arrive not as hot as I had anticipated. My family said that everything that they ordered was fine and they truly enjoyed it.“

“A great day today with a dear friend who has finally moved back to the Albany area.🥰 We have been friends for decades, and I even visited her when she lived in Denver, Colorado. We had a great lunch at Cafe Madison on Northern Boulevard in Albany. She had a yogurt parfait with granola, and fresh fruit, all topped off with enough whipped cream to blanket this group. 🤣 I had a salad of mixed baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries,poached pears, goat cheese, and a delicious apple cider vinaigrette. Our waitress, Ashley, was a delight. The food was great, but she's the reason I'll be back. Great customer service skills. She loves her job, and it's reflected in her positive attitude.“

“The naga chicken sandwich was AMAZING and my partner really enjoyed her crispy chicken sandwich. Love having a halal spot nearby. The prices are super reasonable- think McDonald’s prices for HIGH quality food. Staff is so friendly and quick, and it’s a cute little spot. We live nearby and will be back!

“Its date night , so we stopped for dinner before the STYX concert and our waiter Shawn ( Sean?) was superb ! Ordered a Peach Bellini that was dynamite ! Like a frozen dessert ! Hubby had a pineapple mule that was stupendous also . The fish tacos were very good ...texture and taste were spot on . The fish and chips were excellent . The fried fish was delightfully light , not heavy . The coleslaw was bland but everything else was yummy . And finally, we had to get dessert . Decided on pineapple upside down cheesecake . Absolutely fabulously delicious!“

“I’ve been looking forward to checking out the restaurant, Dove & Deer, since I first encountered their food when their chef was highlighted at the annual Summer Gala fundraiser here in Hudson last year. Their chef served an incredible amuse-bouche with gooseberries and the chef who was there sharing the amuse-bouches was wonderfully charming and the food was incredible! I was so impressed that I’ve been following their social media since then and have been looking forward to visiting the restaurant all the while! I was recently in the area and while I unfortunately wasn’t able to visit the restaurant in person- I was able to order through Door Dash and the meal was incredible! We ordered an assortment of things to share and were thrilled with everything! -Spicy Kale Caesar with shredded kale, croutons, and shaved parmesan! -Truffle Parm Fries with scallions and truffle aioli! -Mini Wagyu Beef Hotdogs made with wagyu beef, served in buttery toasted buns, and topped with mustard, ketchup, and relish! -Hot Lobster Dip made with lobster claw and knuckle meat, gruyere, gouda, fontina, spinach, scallion, and crispy wontons! It is often very difficult for a restaurant to adjust their menu to translate to takeout; and for them to do so where every single dish was not only delicious but also mostly with a great presentation, says a great deal about their attention to detail. This is a restaurant I look forward to dining at again many more times over the years!“

“Took my dad here for his 50th birthday, group of 4 and it was less than $120. All of us got a decent amount of food, plus an order of wings. Service here was top notch, shout out to Katherine for her great service. They sent out free samples every 30 mins and for our first time going we got to try one of their Brownies. The samples were great, especially the apple cobbler, the brownie was also solid. The actual bbq was pretty good, I'd personally recommend the pulled pork and the smoked turkey. The brisket was a little dry, it was a lean cut, and the wings tasted great but also just a little dry, but not bad by any means. We also really appreciated the free sandwich cards for our next visit, will definitely come back to use that.“

“Definitely stands out at the food court. Very unique flavors for a traditional corn dog. Got the spicy Cheeto and the churro. Both were surprisingly delicious. Want to try the ramen flavor for next time we go. Didn’t use the express order section, but wish I tried it to see if it was a more convenient way of ordering. Definitely recommend for anyone that loves trying something new, and who obviously loves corn dogs.“

“I came in for brunch with my year old son and was welcomed with such a friendly welcome! Received a menu along with a child menu with crayons ! Absolutely amazing to keep him occupied while I order. We ordered and got our amazingly cooked food in a very timely manner. Food was cooked to our requested temperature. Food was so delicious ! Was able to walk out spending no more than $70! Great price especially since we also ordered food to go!! Very pleased with this experience we just had! Would definitely recommend!“

“Fantastic experience earlier this month having Sunday Brunch with my son and our American cousins at Lost & Found. This place is great! The real America, in Albany, away from the well-beaten tourist tracks. Friendly service, great menu, tasty food, and the proprietor is a gent - even let us get group photos on the stage as he hadn’t a band at the time! It was a wet Sunday but we just had a great family get together inside. Not that far from the city centre and worth finding. Very good value as well.“

Split the tomahawk with a friend this time around and it was great, only wish it came with a side of potatoes or something like that, seems like it would considering the price. But aside from that we had a wonderful time. The art on the walls highlights local attractions and helps the place feel less like a giant chain restaurant and more like a local joint, nice touch! We started with the Mozzarella Sticks which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, I had the Chicken Shawarma Meal and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was beautiful and the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was just right.
