“I loved this place: just what I've been looking for in the overwrought world of Hamptons dining...nice outdoor dining (and indoor if you prefer) that's not overcrowded, great food on an imaginative menu, not crazy pricing, nice crowd of normal people and lovely service in a space where you could have a good conversation and hear everything. This is not a place glitzy people go to impress their friends. It was full of low-key friends enjoying each other's company and a good meal. I didn't know such a place still existed in East Hampton. “Had the chance to visit Sam’s last week and happy to report it’s still the same classic, family friendly spot it always has been. The minute you walk in the doors, all the great memories come flooding back. Our food (four cheese pie with chicken and the linguine with locally caught seafood) was delish! Our server was lovely.
